My favorite holiday tradition is decorating with paper snowflakes! I've covered the entire ceiling of my dorm room going on four years now (just finished putting them up actually!) and I also put them up on my window!

Such a cute apron! And I don't know how well it works, but in one of Commander Holly's videos, she mentions that if you cut fur stuff like that from the bottom without cutting the actual fur, less fur gets everywhere. And I'm super excited to help decorate the tree as my mom and I watch Love Actually and White Christmas.

I have found that when using faux fur...if I want to reduce the amount of loose fur after cutting, I flip it over and cut the flat side slowly with a craft knife. You get much less fuzzies all over the place.

Here is a tip on how to cut fur so you cut down on it getting everywhere. NEVER just cut straight through it. Faux fur has a netting type material on the back and all you have to do is take the tip of your scissors to cut carefully through that part only. It does take a bit longer than just cutting straight through the fur itself but it will be cleaner and the fur won't have any odd ends. There are some videos on RU-vid showing how to do it. My friend who studied at a design school in California was the one who told me how to do, so I just used RU-vid for visual since I am a visual learner. www.solitarysnowowlcraft.etsy.com You can see how I used faux fur to make plushies. I used this tip and it made my life a whole lot easier with the fur. :)

Karen Kavett I am so thankful to my BFF for that tip. It's bad enough the fur sheds from the bolt depending on the type. Good luck.
