I get so happy when you post I'm non binary too but everyone disrespects my pronouns because I wear the hijab but I am getting into alt fashion lately and hopefully get money to buy some clothing. Love you💙😁 Edit: ok so I decided to take off the hijab bc I am now using h/they pronouns and identify as demiboy/nonbinary. I hope everyone still supports me🙂

a quick tip on bleaching your clothes, if you cover the spots with hydrogen peroxide for a bit before rinsing it it neutralizes the bleach! That way the fabric doesn't degrade more and removes the risk of skin irritations!

i’ve been thrifting a lot lately but rarely ever have the time/inspiration to modify them to my tastes and i end up just never wearing them because i basically live in tees and pajamas! that’s why i love your videos, reminding me that i don’t have to settle for any of my clothes in their current states, god and there’s no surface that can’t be a painting canvas! aaah pls keep it up (also, i love how fast you talk, i do the same and no one understands me 💀)

I'm in a terrible fashion slump right now, none of my clothes are fitting the way I want. I love watching your diy vids to get inspired to diy and remake my clothes or even sew new clothes out of my fabric stash. Everything show on here is so cool and I love what remaking things does to make them so much cooler.

PS. I love getting yarn from the thrift store, I just finished crocheting a GIANT blanket out of all thrifted yarn and I am very happy with how it turned out. Also, I found some super expensive nice ones when I was hunting for yarn for the blanket. The crafting section is always amazing.

I recently started my more alt phase and I feel the same as you about getting older and being more confident and dressing the way you Actually Want To!! I had a pretty rough upbringing and didn't really have a lot of time or energy to do anything for myself. I was really into the idea of customizing my clothes, but at the time I really wanted to start, I was Going Thro It mentally and ended up having to ditch all my ideas. Now I'm 20 and feel like I'm dressing the way I would've wanted to when I was 16 because that's what's comfortable and fun for me; alt fashion is a way of reclaiming my teenage years that I never really had

The last part of the video made me tear up 🖤 It's been a hard few years, and this past week has been rough because my senior kitty is having issues and I'm really worried about him. I've been really beating myself up about it, especially today, so your kind words gave me a nice warm hug. Last night I finally contacted a tattoo artist about a tattoo I've wanted for like, decades (got the sticker when I was around 11 or so I think? Am 36 now). So hopefully that'll be a nice treat to myself in the coming months :)

This is such a lovely video, really excellent finds and then fantastic finishing touches! I've been into alt fashion (mainly goth) for a couple decades now, and I have had some great times putting together alternative flea markets. Getting the people with excess alt stuff and the people looking for new alt stuff conveniently together at the same spot, you know? There haven't been any recently for obvious reasons, and there's boxes and boxes of the stuff in the attic. So lately I noticed a few of the village kids who are getting to the point of figuring out their own styles are leaning in this direction and got really happy, then I thought about how tricky it was to get cool things at that age, so now they're going to get to pick through those boxes at a massive discounts even by flea market standars, because yay alt fashion! :D

ahh i totally feel the getting-rid-of-cool-clothes you had when you were a young teenager and regretting it later. i honestly diy'ed so many clothes when i was younger and they had so much sentimental value but i just got rid of everything at one point in my life... i guess that happens but sometimes i sadly think about those items

I didn’t think of making my own patches, though i do like getting patches from other artists that i got from etsy. I haven’t got to sewing them on my gray denim jacket. I’m thinking about painting on clothes too. I’ve tried thrifting online and i like a few pieces of clothes that i owned, but I’m very sensitive to strong scents that were left on some clothes and even after washing them several times doesn’t work as I couldn’t wear them without getting allergies, feeling itchy, and headaches. I have no choice but to buy new, even sales and only being more selective in the specific aesthetics that i like. It’ll take me a while to be able to dress for myself and be comfortable wearing it more. This channel have given me plenty of inspiration and even better from an awesome nonbinary person. I’m nonbinary as well. c:

As a fellow punk rocker, I have the same feelings towards cheetah print - it's not colourful enough! But I learnt it actually looks amazing with the classic red tartan and helps to spice up the look. I still don't have full cheetah print clothing, but I made myself some fluffy bon-bon cheetah earrings, got cheetah boots and a scrunchie and they are really cute accessories. I am also planning to DIY a red tee with a cheetah heart (like the one from unif). I think a plaid skirt could also look cute with cheetah patches
