I've posted LINKS to where we purchased everything to make this costume in the video description. I'm happy to answer this question as many times as people care to ask it, but I'm here to make your life easier as well. Just check the video description guys...it's all there. :) Thank you for all the comments and likes! You guys rock!
I like your a monkey's costume it looks cool how you painted red and silver now that is pretty cool and I help me looks real I never see you among those before so that's my first time hearing about it your costume looks cool😎
Tysm I've been looking for a good costume for comicon coming up next year (if its safe ofc due to covid, if not then disappointed but safety first) Rlly excited 🤯🤯🤯
Lily used some of her B-day $ to buy a decent USB mic. Should be here soon. I mentioned her doing a gameplay vid with you for your channel, and she seems down.
Thanks for the comment! I posted links in the description on where we bought everything. It's available on Amazon and on Ebay. I've noticed that the price on this specific helmet has doubled. I think everyone is doing this costume this year, and vendors are jacking prices. There are other costume space helmets that are probably less expensive. We just picked this one because it was pretty simple looking and already had the blue visor. Glad you enjoyed the video! :)
@@jamieclement3867 That's where we got this one, and yeah...we paid about $30. I just posted Amazon links bc that's where a lot of people shop. Some of the Ebay sellers are trying to gouge by charging almost $90 for it now, but I still see the $30 one on there.
Thanks! The jumpsuit was purchased on Amazon. There's are links in the video description for where we purchased everything. It's just a basic red jumpsuit. You could also check Etsy and Ebay.
Thanks for the comment! It's not a shirt and pants. It's a jumpsuit (one piece)...basically mechanic's coveralls. I put links in the video description telling where everything was bought. Most of this stuff was purchased from Amazon.
Ok, I have a question. I’m doing my own cosplay and have the helm done. It came out a bit more teal (bluer side) than cyan but I’m having a hell of a time finding stuff that will work with the color. Any suggestions?
That's a tough one. This is one of the reasons I went with straight red. Primary colors seem easier to match with one another. I guess the two options would be: 1) repaint the helmet with a closer color to the jumpsuit, or 2) get a white jumpsuit and dye it, but the latter is much harder to do with accuracy than the former. I might try repainting the helmet. This won't help now, but in future, it can help to test paint colors on something you don't care about first, to make sure they match the way you need them to. Good luck with your cosplay!
@@jessicacrane59 you mean the red jumpsuit? We bought it on Amazon. The links to all the components are in the video description. It's just a basic red jumpsuit.
You can be what ever color crewmate you want. Red just seems to be the iconic one for some reason. Initially, my kid wanted to be purple, but finding purple coveralls at a reasonable price made it kind of impossible. ;)
@@unigu9725 suppose you could. They sell light up shoes and jumpsuits in many different colors. Might be easier to just buy them in the color you want. If that's not an option and you have to dye or re-color the shoes, I'd probably use spraypaint or a fabric spray paint that is made for clothing like what I used on the gloves in this video. As far as dying a jumpsuit a different color, that's going to be hard, bc unless it's already a plain white jumpsuit, you'd have to use a clothing color removal dye and then dye it the new color you want...which is a lot of work. Cosplay and costume building is a lot of trial and error. You just have to try things and see what works and what doesn't.
Hi. Thanks for the comment and the sub. I posted links in the video description on where I bought everything that I used in the video. Most of it is from Amazon. The gloves are a cheap pair of work gloves from ACE Hardware. Hope that helps!
I've not seen them for sale as a complete costume. This is why I made my own. See links in description on where I bought everything and you too can make your own!
The link to what? Links for where we purchased everything are in the description: space helmet, jumpsuit, backpack, crewmate pin and shoes...it's all there.
