Always wanted live on a houseboat or shanty boat ...off away from the city marinas and traffic ...but now the logistics of going grocery shopping . An amphib answers that . Current back of the envelope drawing board includes a sailing canoe ...out riggers .trolling motor and bicycle wheels with pedal assist on the ground . Of course a sail so if you have favourable winds on 4st you don't have pedal as hard .
Actually working on a version 2 with a bigger 420cc engine; the original was really only 220cc. I want to be able to get version 2 up a skipping on top the water like the mini boat in the video. I hope the info provided so far will inspire you or others to build some stuff.
That really looks nice! If amphibious car is good, an amphibious go cart is great! I liked the first idea, I would actually love to build this cart! Keep posting more, I would like to see more details and performance of the cart
Amphib #2 plan is an aluminum John boat .swing down ideler wheels In the rear and drive engine on a single wheel on the front licensed as a motorcycle .
Sorry I am not selling anything as of right now. The DOTD, the DMV and I don't see things the same way. I wanted to be able to to put together kits, like kit cars and set it up so that they could be made street legal under a modified vehicle license. Not enough of the Donor Vehicle was used DOTD guys opinion. I would have to provide DOTD Vehicles for crash test BS. So I started looking at and building a bad ass Mini-RV size 8'wide x 30 foot long . Crash test are not required on RVs. I had the mini-RV in a friends shop and things were progressing well then he had a heart attack. It took over two years to get my stuff back. After that I have just been building the off road toy prototypes.
@@bertsandlin4850 thanks for the reply. I am selling my house and everything else to buy an island you need to access by boat. Found you and thought how practical it would be. Shame goverent oversight tends to ruin creative endeavors. I'll continue to live life in the great area
