I’ve been watching clips to see different methods for curving the drywall and I kept seeing people soaking it or bending it slowly over time. Finally a video of someone cutting slits on the back. This is the method I was planning on doing but wanted to see someone do it

А что это за уголок вы прикрепили на гипсокартон перед шпаклевкой?

Vinyl Bullnose Arch Bead or something like Straight-Flex Arch-Flex Corner Bead, it was pre cut to allow the bullnose to contour to the arch's radius. It worked really well! Thanks for watching!
