Ich würde nie zum vorherigen Display zurückkehren. Das Aussehen ist Geschmackssache, aber für mich ist die Funktionalität am wichtigsten, und diese Einheit steht den neuesten Autos in nichts nach (leider abgesehen vom fehlenden Support für 360-Grad-Kameras, aber ich habe in einem der Projekte ein semi-360 gemacht, das Video ist auf dem Kanal verfügbar). Viele neue Autos haben solch ein herausragendes Display, und was hältst du vom Display in einem Tesla, haha. Guter Punkt in Bezug auf die Sicherheit, aber in diesem Fall würde ich mir eher Sorgen um eine lose halbliterflasche Wasser machen, die bei einer Geschwindigkeit von 50 km/h die Aufprallkraft eines Zementsacks hat. I would never go back to the previous display. The appearance is a matter of taste, but for me, functionality is the most important, and this unit does not stay behind those in the latest cars (unfortunately, except for the lack of support for 360 cameras, but I made a semi-360 in one of the projects, the video is available on the channel). Many new cars have such a protruding display, and what do you think about the display in a Tesla, haha. Good point about safety, but in this case, I would be more concerned about a loose half-liter bottle of water, which at a speed of 50 km/h has the impact force of a bag of cement.

Hallo, Ich habe kein Luftfahrwerk, aber das neue Teil sieht nach dem Drücken der MMI-Konsolentasten "Car" oder "Setup" aus wie das native Audi-System (das Original war orange, dieses ist jedoch blau). Man kann die Wischer in die Servicestellung setzen und so weiter, es gibt auch Zugang zum versteckten diagnostischen Grünen Menü. Meine beste Vermutung (aber immer noch eine Vermutung) wäre, dass dort alle Audi-Einstellungen verfügbar sind. Kann das vielleicht jemand bestätigen?

Don't have any link got used ami cable on a local auction. Just plug it in the yellow socket behind the glove box, connect jack/ami cable delivered with the radio and then you need to activate ami in the green diagnostic menu.

@@DIYcarandstuff so, did you only have to get a cable or did you need to get the whole decoding box?

@@robinvietor596 I only got the ami cable, the box was already mounted behind the glovebox. My box has 2 inputs one yellow for the new ami cable and one pink that was already used (a radio I belive)

If the only issue is the display not working and the rest like sound, radio etc work then this is the best thing ever, turning 14 yo car into almost most up to date tech thing out there ( besides no 360 view which sucks i would go this way but haven't found dedicated one for audi ) I totally recommend it together with cameras upgrade

I'm an average person so it shouldn't be too hard for anyone, ofc better to be safe than sorry, I would take all possible precautions, audi is by far the hardest car to work on ( have worked only on fiat and now with the "new" 14 yo audi )

Sadly nothing related to the MMI currently works. I believe I've narrowed it down to it not being an Optical Bus issue, since the trunk modules all receive the red signal. I'm not sure if somethings not receiving electrical power, but I'm praying its not the control unit behind the glove box, because I believe that requires the dealer to remove the Component Protection But once I get all the audio, carplay, and rear camera working I'll be the happiest dude on the planet

@fouad563 Ich habe noch nie einen 10-Zoll-Bildschirm gesehen, aber für mich ist dieser gut, definitiv nicht zu groß. Viele Apps funktionieren im Split-Screen-Modus. Ein Nachteil ist, dass einige Anwendungen, die nur den Porträtmodus unterstützen, auf einem breiten Bildschirm kaum nutzbar sind, wobei nur der obere Teil des App-Bildschirms sichtbar ist (z. B. App zur Steuerung von Umgebungslichtern), und ich konnte keine Lösungen finden. Wenn ich ein anderes Radio bräuchte, würde ich mich für ein 12-Zoll-Modell entscheiden, aber ich würde nach etwas suchen, das eine 360-Grad-Ansicht unterstützt, was dieses Radio nicht hat, und etwas mit vollständig funktionierendem Bluetooth, da hier die Android-Einheit nur als Bluetooth-Lautsprecher funktioniert, d.h., man kann keine anderen Geräte wie z. B. einen OBD-Scanner oder BLE-TPMS etc. koppeln, was ziemlich schlecht ist. Ich bin nicht sicher, warum der Hersteller das Bluetooth so eingeschränkt hat. Ich denke nicht, dass es spezielle für A6 C6 (die mit der MMI-Konsole funktionieren) Android-Headunits mit diesen Funktionen gibt, aber wenn du weißt, dass es welche gibt, lass es mich wissen!

@@DIYcarandstuff Also meins hat ne 360 Grad Ansicht Möglichkeit...die Kameras kommen die Tage rein... Zu der Bluetooth Musik Thematik angeblich soll meins auch Bluetooth OSB unterstützen... Ich hab nen 8.8" Display das reicht vollkommen meiner Meinung nach. Ich liebe die Headunit...macht nen richtig wertigen Eindruck und dank Android Auto verbindet es sich sofort... Also nächstes kommt noch eine separate SIM Karte und dann ist es perfekt...

Ist es speziell für den A6 C6 (mit Unterstützung der MMI-Tasten) und mit voller 360-Grad-Ansicht? Ich konnte keines mit vollständiger 360-Grad-Ansicht finden, daher musste ich eine Umgehungslösung verwenden (es gibt eine Einzelkameransicht von einer bestimmten Seite, also eine halb 360-Grad-Ansicht). Android-Headunits sind großartig, das Auto fühlt sich 20 Jahre jünger an. Lass mich wissen, wie es mit den installierten Kameras läuft! Fahr sicher!
