Nice gate and great job, as always. I am sure baby girl will be watched closely all the time, and never left unattended, but as the mother of 3 kids I would have picked a latch that the boy cannot easily operate, because little kids have a tendency to leave doors (and gates) open. Better yet, replace the hinges with self-closing spring hinges that force the gate to shut close. A different latch may be required with those hinges, but it shouldn't be hard to find.
We're In the process of enclosing our back porch n I like this gate idea instead of an actual door. Would have to be a little taller but would work great for my needs. Your tutorials are always spot on. TFS. Have a wonderful week.
