DIY Ballerina Bun + 2 Styles

I have been using Rave hairspray for years, but I used the Instant Freeze the other day and my hair actual held curls all day long! Do you use any products when you curl your hair?

***** I haven't asked my hairstylist to do that. I love my thick hair even through all the messiness sometimes, I grow it out really long and because of the thickness I can donate two ponytails. I try to keep it well conditioned, and the spray conditioner sounds like it would make my life so much easier! I'll make sure to check it out. Thanks for the tips! And the awesome video, I just tried it in my hair, and it was easy and is working out really well!

It helps when you have messy tangible curly hair. It may work when having wavy hair but I do not know. I started out by learning with pens and pencils in my hair. I twist my hair until it is moderately tight, stick the pencil/pen through then twist some more. Once it is tightened, I stick the end of the pencil into the roots of my hair at least toward the neck. If needed, you can stick it through the other side of the roots. With chopsticks, you use the other chopstick and poke it the other side of your bun, making the chopsticks into an X

But then maybe your hair is like mine. You can't do the chopsticks just like I can't do the Ballerina Bun

Teasing isnt bad for hair or else amanda wouldnt do it... Shes a lisxensed cosmetologist

Fati Nay Nay Maybe a hair mask like a deep conditioner might work to soften your new growth and tame them a little bit. i would suggest researching different products for curly hair. I don't have curly hair so I'm not so much help in that department. But, certain brands of curly haired products work better than others. The best way is to look up like "best products for curly hair" like on pinterest or google. blogs usually have products rated for usefulness for certain types of hair. Sorry i can't be more help!

NikkiRandom153 Oh curly hair would be great to have for a ballerina bun! You won't need to tease your hair as much and it will give it nice texture too! It will also hold better! but for some of the other styles, like braiding, maybe having slightly straighter hair would work better :) Hope it worked!
