I turned 4 of my cheapo Irwin clamps into "bandy" clamps using this bike tire technique today, and used them to complete edge banding on a bunch of boards - fantastic. Thank you for saving me the $50 this would have cost me!

Can you tell me the size tire you used?

What a great video. Easy to follow and a real money saver. I'm gonna make some of these for my workshop.

Not sure of the tube size. It was for one of those skinny tire racing bikes. You may be able to get a free used one at your local bike shop.

Awesome video! I hate using iron on edge banding to cover plywood so I've been thinking about how I can glue on my own edge banding without using pin nails to clamp it. I can't afford to purchase a bunch of bandy clamps so this is a perfect low cost solution. Can you tell me the width of the inner tube you used? It looks to me to be around 2 cm or about 1 inch. I know you said narrow bike inner tube but I don't want to purchase the tube and have it be too big/small.
