DIY Bathroom Canisters Using Dollar Tree & Dollar General Vases

I have always wanted a set of beautiful bathroom canisters as well as a place to temporarily hold my jewelry. Well I decided to create a set of canisters using the small vases at Dollar Tree and the large vases from Dollar General. I love a clutter free bathroom counter.

This was actually really good. Usually DIYs look cheap and not that great. This actually looked like you bought it like that. And it's simple to duplicate, no fancy equipment.

I just love this idea and use of items. I posted it on Facebook for my Granddaughter to see, because she has been decorating her new vanity. She will love the idea, but I feel my crafty sister's will too.

I can’t imagine like now….this set if you purchased something like this today would be like 60 or more dollars. Possibly more than $100 for its beauty and glamour! I love this set it’s absolutely beautiful! I’ve had this on my watch later list because eventually I want to make it but I just had to watch it. I love these pieces they look so beautiful thank you for having such a creative mind!

Okay, I am making these TODAY! I love the fact that they are serving many purposes...ring holder, product holder and functional beauty. I have the same issue when I am not wearing my glasses as well, but now I need for you to come up with an idea on how to elegantly store my glasses. Oh and by the way, you may want to patent this because I have yet to see any canisters like these. You are always thinking outside of the box! Great job Cathryn!

While walking through Goodwill the other day I spied 2 gorgeous "jars". They were good sized and will be perfect for a kitchen and I immediately thought of this DIY. Of course I grabbed them and what did I see? They were 1/2 price!!! I paid $2.00 each for jars that would easily be $20 or more at a department store. Now to head to Lowe's to pick up some terracotta "lids" and some handles. :)

Absolutely love it! I too have many glass containers and find very difficult to find something to act like lids but I never thought about plant saucers, that's brilliant! painted in white and with golden finals, it's so gorgeous!
