Once they are dry and you remove the tape amd rubberbands, you can also use a clear shellac over it to make them sother and remove the rough edges

Hey girlee....I did this but I did mine in white.......love it. Yours came out very nice. I see these pieces being used not only as a vase for flowers but also displayed maybe on a buffet table as a collection. And it shows that you must really wanted to do some type of craft for us, that you forgot to take off your white pants while DIY..ing......lol. Thanks for sharing, be blessed.

If my hand fits inside I cover my hand with a glove or bag, stick my hand inside and start spraying and turning. Or just trim the inside rim with painters tape & gently stuff news paper inside, then spray.

I actually like the textured effect of the rubber bands...maybe u could do that again but mod podge on some twine around instead of the rubber bands for a permanent elevated texture
