As a woman myself with many female friends, I've seen women get decent men & then think they don't have to bring anything to the partnership. Just as a WOMAN wants a help mate, someone who will add their gifts to a relationship, they must do the same. This was in response to previous post about how lucky Karen was to have someone like Michael without lending the same kudos to him for having Her because she must be an intelligent, interesting, independent woman to have attracted such a blessing. Bringing something to the table is called a partnership and a great relationship, but in no way does the word “ motivate him/her” to have good character fit into this. Fantastic job!!! You completely transformed the space and did it affordably. I love the floating toilet and the linear drain in the shower. I never saw a drain like that before. I love the Jug on the counter, but maybe tone the "tree" art a bit. Compromise. Michael is a jack of all trades, not to mention witty and facial expressions are hilarious.

Great makeover and tips. Love ALL the finishes - the concrete looking tiles, herringbone floors, juxtaposed against the warm rustic wood. 🤗 I would paint the metal brackets under the sink the wall color to camouflage.

The bathroom looks great - I love the black accents. Our hard water stopped us having the black taps I fancied, as the limescale would have ruined the look. Good idea to be able to turn on the shower without getting wet!

Michael is a joy...lemme say that real quick! Other than that my mouth just dropped when you showed the new bathroom. OMG its gorgeous and I know the hell of having a bathroom renovation as I had mine done not so long ago, the mess, the holes in the floor and wall - it was stripped back to the studs and replastered! The ceiling was raised and electrics and lighting done. My tiling - subway for the walls and to the shower, and larger for the floor. Neutral colours that flowed with navy tiles as contrast. I love mine and I love even more yours. 😍
