Beer Pong is a must have at every good party and the common aluminum tables are just trashy... so I figured I need to build one myself!
I used Epoxy Resin to get the wood waterproof (in case a cup drops) and creating a nice look.
The LED can light in different patterns.

Awesome table man! Im curious how you made those holes so perfect, because i'm planning on making a table myself.
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
Thanks! I built a template (0:20 - 0:27). Just mark the centers of the 10 holes on a thin wooden plate. Than drill the holes with a hole saw the size you want them. Now you can transfer the holes with a flush trim router bit into your table. Have fun building yours!

Awesome table and sick work 🔥What kind of tape did you use to prevent the epoxy from leaking when you poured the cup holes?

First of all, amazing and absolute stunning piece of Art!!! 🔥 how much Epoxy Resin is necessary for this build?
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
Thanks a lot! I bought 4,5 kg and used it all. But I also driped a lot so I am sure you could work with less😉

Hey bro just wondering on what the angles are on the table sides and the legs looking at making one for myself
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
Hey bro the angles are called piano hinges and the legs are just regular pipes (I think they are usually used for heating systems) but you could really use any pipes you want. Just cut them to the hight of around 75 cm

Awesome video👌 What are the dimensions of the table? I want to build one myself 😀

Thanks! Length 240 cm, width 60 cm, height 70 cm. Awesome let’s go😉😄

What sort of lumber are you using here. Where do you get a similar style board for the top
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
I used beech but I would recommend a lighter type of wood. It’s called finger jointed panel and you should be able to get it at any type of hardware store
@testpixel2539
@testpixel2539 3 года назад
Nice Table! What did you use for clearcoating the underside and sides of the table?
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
Thanks! It’s all covered in epoxy but I used less on the underside
@testpixel2539
@testpixel2539 3 года назад
Thanks, also what type of wood is this? , doesn't look like multiplex or something.
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
@@testpixel2539 The material is called glued wood panels and the wood is beech. Actually you can use any typ of material as long as you like the look. But I wouldn’t use beech anymore because it’s likely to bend because of temperature and humidity
@testpixel2539
@testpixel2539 3 года назад
What is the thickness of the wood panel? 12mm or 18, or more?

You should sell this! I’d totally buy one

Thanks! I am actually already working on some optimizations to make the table lighter and easier to build so that I can sell them one day

Hey I got another question, what type of brand of LED strips did you use?
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
The one I used is not available anymore but they where pretty similar to those👇🏻 It’s probably better if the battery case is waterproof. You need 3 meters on each side. If you’re coloring the resin you don’t need LEDs with color.

How did u make the bace plates for the legs, how did u cut the angle with the gain I’m finding this very difficult to do
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 2 года назад
That was actually quite difficult. I placed a piece of wood on my chop saw und pressed the board against it. Then I cut it in half with an angle by feeling. I don’t think that’s the best way but it worked for me
@brodylang4408
@brodylang4408 2 года назад
Oh really I made a jig the same angle as my sides and cut with the grain on the band saw
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 2 года назад
@@brodylang4408 Thats definitely a better way with the band saw👍🏻 I just don’t have one so I had to use the chop saw

Also where abouts do I buy or get the metal legs
@ANprojects

They are just common pipes called double pipe nipples. I got them from the hardware store

Sorry I meant what’s that angle in the video at 1:01 min and the angle of the pice of wood in the video that u are holding at 2:35 in the vid just trying to make one for myself 😁
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
Ahh got it😄 the piece of wood in 2:35 is actually the piece I cut away in 1:01. I will measure the angle later for you😉
@ANprojects
@ANprojects 3 года назад
So the angle at 1:01 is 20 degrees and the triangle I’ve cut away is 45 cm long. I would love to see the result of your work! If you like you can send me a picture when you’re done: an.alexandernies@gmail.com
