This channel is about my projects which are mainly made out of wood or metal. I will show you how I build my own furniture or just worked on some projects like knifes in my workshop.
Awesome job. It was nice seeing someone spend as much time on the handle and sheath as the blade. I’m working on a similar project right now. I’m making two fantasy scimitars from angle iron. I don’t intend for them to be anything more than that all hangars, and they are really too small to be swords. It’s nice seeing someone use easy to obtain, common materials, and tools to make something so nice.
Thanks! My tanto is actually only in a showcase as well :D But I think that's completely ok. Your plan sounds great! I think it's always nice when people build things themselves and you don't necessarly need professional tools. Good luck with your project!
I have a bent bed frame that would push the supports out (1x6 wood) the bend when you sit on it pushed it out so ima try to make a few knifes soon mainly a practice piece before using the good stuff
Hi, leider nein. Ich habe mich an den Maßen von herkömmlichen Beerpong Tischen orientiert und dann einfach mal "gemacht „. Falls du irgendwelche Fragen hast, kannst du dich aber gerne melden
That was actually quite difficult. I placed a piece of wood on my chop saw und pressed the board against it. Then I cut it in half with an angle by feeling. I don’t think that’s the best way but it worked for me
I used beech but I would recommend a lighter type of wood. It’s called finger jointed panel and you should be able to get it at any type of hardware store
@@testpixel2539 The material is called glued wood panels and the wood is beech. Actually you can use any typ of material as long as you like the look. But I wouldn’t use beech anymore because it’s likely to bend because of temperature and humidity
Sorry I meant what’s that angle in the video at 1:01 min and the angle of the pice of wood in the video that u are holding at 2:35 in the vid just trying to make one for myself 😁
So the angle at 1:01 is 20 degrees and the triangle I’ve cut away is 45 cm long. I would love to see the result of your work! If you like you can send me a picture when you’re done: an.alexandernies@gmail.com
Hey bro the angles are called piano hinges and the legs are just regular pipes (I think they are usually used for heating systems) but you could really use any pipes you want. Just cut them to the hight of around 75 cm
Thanks a lot! No I actually watched a lot of tutorials (still doing it😄). And I recently startet studying “interior works”, so I will learn more about woodworking with that too.
The one I used is not available anymore but they where pretty similar to those👇🏻 It’s probably better if the battery case is waterproof. You need 3 meters on each side. If you’re coloring the resin you don’t need LEDs with color.
Thanks! I built a template (0:20 - 0:27). Just mark the centers of the 10 holes on a thin wooden plate. Than drill the holes with a hole saw the size you want them. Now you can transfer the holes with a flush trim router bit into your table. Have fun building yours!
The knife has more decorative purposes. It’s my first knife and I was just wondering what I could do with some stuff in my garage. And I think it turned out pretty well, so I am ready to build my next knife with proper material.
