I watched a minute of this video . I saw your basket of scrap fabric and was inspired to make myself my own basket of beginning scraps. Getting excited for my sewing journey

I’ve never thought about using an iron! That’s genius!!❤️❤️❤️

Nice video, thanks. I prefer the method of doing the wraps in the oven then the wax is contained on the tray. When you remove a wrap from the tray you can add more pieces of material in a single layer and add more wax as needed.

Hello. I love the way you teach. Is there any chance you could teach a baby / toddler dress or even wardrobe series. I’m in Uk and would love to see for my granddaughters.

You don't have to use pine resin, you can just use beeswax

Love beeswax wraps! Did you have to put the wax on both sides or does it sort of melt through the cotton? Xx

do you only apply the beeswax to one side? if so, which side is best to cover the food?
@linarosengruen204
@linarosengruen204 4 года назад
I’m not sure if that’s accurate but I can imagine that the beeswax would sink into the whole fabric when you melt it so even tho you only apply it on one side the other side also has bees wax on it (?)

Hi. Did I miss you say that it's best to prewash the fabric? Making some today.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Where did you get your scalloped shears? Spotlight, Lincraft, or online?
@RoseryApparel

Yes wash the fabric first, and I got the scalloped pinking sheers from Spotlight 😊

Noticed some add jojoba oil and pine resins! Are these two ingredients necessary?
@RoseryApparel

I think they are necessary! The bees wax I used had those elements pre-mixed in 😊

Would it be even better to sew the edges of the fabric or do they not fray once the wax is on?
@RoseryApparel

They don’t fray at all especially if you use the pinking shears 😊

Hi, does the wrap clink onto the item or do you actually need a rubberband to tighten it?
@RoseryApparel
@RoseryApparel 4 года назад
The heat of your hands slightly warms the wax and makes it cling on 😊

This might be a silly question, but how do you remember which fabric scraps are 100% cotton?
@RoseryApparel
@RoseryApparel 4 года назад
Not a silly question! I work in a fabric shop so know what a fabric is just from feeling it a lot of the time, plus I only buy natural (eg cotton) fabric anyway 😊
