My high school shop teacher told us once that of all the woodworkers his age that would boast about not using guards he only met one who wasn't missing at least part of a finger
Dude, one of these days your going to let that material close up on the back of your table saw blade an it's going to throw it right into your face! Pushing on the material with both hands is extremely unsafe. Great little project but do work safely.
I'm glad someone said it. He'd be far safer even if he just had a splitter or any guard on it. Multiple times the material started to pinch together. He's asking for a kickback
This is a shocking video - gloves while using a table saw? no splitter after the blade, pushing the material with both hands either side of the blade - all big no-nos - asking for kick back and a fairly terrible example to others out there.
