This is exactly what I've been looking for!! A tip for beginners would be to serge the waist and leg edges before the inseam is stitched. I know lots of new stitchers struggle with round pieces.

I know you have a list of projects that you are wanting to do but I would like to inquire about a repurpose or up cycle using a denim jacket/shorts/button-up-shirt and thrifted lace(a lace skirt). I thought getting a lace skirt or dress was more cost effective. I have Ivory, green and black of course I do have lace ribbon. I’m stalled at how to start. I have grosgrain ribbon that I thought would be the perfect application onto any of the garments I mentioned. I like the denim/lace skirt style and I do have a liner that will be perfect.

Hi Anastasia, an idea came up love this short bloomers, but can u do a tutorial on same length shorts bloomers but instead for wearing out, like a sports day or at the beach , so instead of put elastic in the legs u gathered the leg to d desired leg circumference and then put a 2-3" cuffs, hope you try it Looking forward, thanks, with same elastic waist and same bloomers length .
