Your experience getting your hair twisted is the exact reason I stop going to salons. Either they don’t do what I want or their attitudes. I learned to do styles on myself thanks to RU-vid.
Okay I generally don’t watch videos over 10mins but yours felt like we was shop talking. Your energy & personality is 🔥🔥. You rocked the hell out of that style
"I can cut the top off and call it amber rose" I'm dead😭🤣 when I twist my hair I actually twist my natural hair. I use the fake hair and tuck my twist into the hair. That way over time when the twists get bigger my hair is completely protected and not exposes. Completely a protective style
I love this 😩 you were so care-free about the parts and not focused on the perfection of the style. I will try this but make it a 2 day process i’m too lazy 😂🥰
You, your personality, your way of expressing yourself is a whole vybe! 😆😅🤣 i like your videos . Good job girl! Gave me the drive to go do my own head , you kept cheering on yourself and we all had faith in you ! lol
Gotta say the first twist was the fun part kept me hella entertained, I do this when I'm doing my hair. Have to hype yourself up to keep it pushing. Great job and love the finished result.
Love the look, you made it look so simple! Can’t wait to try it. I’m going to do a Fulani style braids but with twists. This definitely helped finally my next braid styles!
This tutorial had me so ready to get some hair...I want this look I just don't wanna trust someone else to do it. Loved the finish 👏🏽 👌🏽 🙌 ❤️ so worth the work x
SUBSCRIBED ❕ I love your energy😍 you are my spirit twin because it’s a must to hype yourself., that first twist accomplishment dance is me every time because it takes all of that when doing your own hair. You are a VIBE & your hair came out so pretty, you did that🤗🫶🏽🥰
Literally your video came in such an amazing time . My hair lady was so unprofessional and so I decided I need to set boundaries and not move forward with her … it was hard cause I’m feeling desperately upset !. I have a trip to go to and I’m thinking maybe I should just do it myself as I’m tired of the struggle of finding a professional hair stylist . Your video inspired me so much! Thank you! And woah you did amazingly you made it look so easy!
I know it's hard to find hairstylists with good customer service nowadays. I always support a good DIY. It's time consuming but it's super rewarding. And you can tweak it to get it exactly the way you want it without worrying about receiving attitude. And Thank you! 💕💕 I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
We share the same life story.☺️ I am constantly getting a disappointing experience from braiders. So like you, I reside to braiding my own hair. However, while doing so I always sware that I will Never do it again. The last time I did that style on my hair I was exhausted.!!! I feel your pain,. Ut Girl you slayed that hair!! #blackgirlpower👍
🤣 You were so funny. Giving up then encouraging yourself to continue. Congratulations. I probably wouldn't have gone out but why not you earned it ❤️ What makes my sad is your experience at a professional establishment. All that being late and coming in w food, dirty utensils etc is not how we were taught in Cos. School. Keep searching for that perfect stylist we're out here. ❤️ God Bless
Girl it looks beautiful! I’m doing mine this weekend. Yes it it time consuming but having to wait on other people to install the hair, no ma’am. Your store is sooooo reliable dealing with braiders. Ive been doing my own for years now thanks to the school of RU-vid. Btw how do you get the beads to not slip off? Thanks 😊.
I've known people to just mix their natural hair with the twisting hair but braid first (to make look like it goes more just split your hair into 3 put the twist hair under your middle strand and your index and middle finger should be holding the twist hair braid down then twist as normal) twist when you feel like you braid enough And my only bad experience i kept hair in for like a week and half because the lady braided so tight that between the braids my scalp was red and i guess swollen looking, itchy because its like air directly to scalp and i have high porosity hair so fast drying she didn't get my edges in there luckily but i didn't realize how tight they were it was my first time but i found other braiders since then and they were amazing and not so harsh with my scalp
Did this hairstyle, got it right now as we speak and while I like it, I must say it does itch when rubbing on my skin. My scalp doesn’t no more than usual, but when the twist rub on my back and stuff, it itches.
That looks ah-mah-zing!! I don't call humans spirit "animals," but, you must be my bff from another life, long lost twin/sister, or smth. What your daddy name is? Lol. Seriously, deciding to mix the textures was so "I have a great idea! Instead of doing this the easier way, Imma try this more difficult way cuz I think it's gonna be better." You were totally right, though. And, feeling exhausted after doing one dang twist! Yes!!! I felt that in my soul. But, you made me feel like I can do it too, more than the person who goes "dotododo, I'm done. *smile* See how easy that was." Sorry for the looong comment, but thank you, so much, for this great video!! I like how you brought your boho look together w/ the outfit, too, all Lisa Bonet looking & whatnot. Finally, you did all that work for 2 weeks?! More power to you. Okay, I'll stop writing now. Lol. Thanks again!!
So understand where you are coming from , I always had family do my hair, but I moved out of state. I went for the first time to get my hair done and spent more money then I ever had. A braiding salon at that... it was not popping in the streets lol. And it's true that not all will wash their combs. So now me, who does not normally have ANY interest in doing my hair is on youtube, cause I'm not ready to go to another stranger.
Next time pre part your hair it eliminates soooo much time 😂😢 i feel your pain as i just started doing my own hair and learned the crotchet method. I watched so many RU-vid videos. I appreciate all of you wonderful ladies for posting these videos that are so helpful to us. Its beautiful the end result and you did a great job! Im still learning about te different types of hair and styles. Very easy method by far for the twists. Haven't tried twists yet. ❤
your commentary had me dyiiing sis! hopefully you can find yourself a steady stylist you trust so you wont have to work a whole shift on your head. this style came out bomb though!
Great turn out girl! My arms, shoulders and back were hurting just looking at you do it! Now I would like to get my hair done...I have NEVER had my hair done in any braid styles. If I did I would have to sit to do my own. I do not trust anyone else to do it as well. I had bad experiences in the past. Alana is the hair itchy? Does the hair make you hot? So do I but crochet hair to do boho twists? Because I had itchy extensions many times and it made it hard to enjoy. I would hate to start my hairstyle and then it starts to itch. Trying to think of a style now to do on myself (Im no pro either) for Disney World soon. I do not want to deal with the time it takes to comb and style natural hair on vacation. I too like the styles to be easy. Blessings~
Yeah it's definitely a good style for vacation. And the hair wasn't itchy to me. But I've seen some people soak the hair in apple cider vinegar before putting it in their hair. That may help with preventing the itchiness.
@@lanasymone Thank you. I think braiding hair that was braided into my hair before applying extensions was what probably made me itchy versus the actual hair but I can just braid my own hair instead. Did it make your head hot? Blessings~
