I've been watching your videos for a long time and I've never critiqued them as far as quality goes, only content. Never fake. You're the real deal. I love how you show us close up shots of plants, animals, driving and sharing shots of different cities, your seasonal jobs and time with Kelly! That's why I subscribed. I Look forward to your videos over morning coffee. I'm a retired senior and I wish I took that plunge years ago on the road. My husband and I do have a seasonal site so camping is in my blood since childhood. Continue sharing and don't even worry about blunders. They're fun! Brian, I have been following you for a few years now and you are one of my favorites. I love your personality and sweet nature. Your videos are perfect and I am sorry that they can cause you stress, because they do the opposite for me. You have encouraged me and others to go out and explore and I am thankful for that. As I write this I am sitting in a field in Kansas dispersed camping area all by myself...and loving every moment. Thank you for your part in this adventure of mine.

You're such a straight shooter and transparent. You're opening statements about the retakes and the difficulty you have making these clips really speaks out. Few would ever admit to that on RU-vid and we mostly see all of the good stuff and that life as nomad or RU-vidr is a cakewalk. Like most in life none of is totally easy. Never even thought about you being uncomfortable in front of the camera. Interesting to watch your setup develop and see how you do things. That table had me at the tape! Not to mention the multiple usage of the table! You're killing it my friend! Just keep on making videos.

The table is really cool - to be so mobile yet remain stable side to side. Not wobbly. Adding more countertop space yet returning to use for computer or movie screen holder. Very clever & affordable. You applied skills & needs that have developed over the years to make this build suit your life now but kept the aesthetics you feel comfortable in, that sort of cabin feel. Your hard work shows in the finishes & thoughtful layout.

Great video, love your new van setup, I just recently downsized from a 40’ class A Diesel pusher to a 26’ Class C without slides to simplify my life and still have all the comfort’s, which so far as been great. if was a young kid like you I would definitely go back to my van or a box van like yours for a more simplified lifestyle. You gave me a lot of ideas for my van so maybe I can give you one back. We have the same fridge and I set mine up on a piece of plywood with non rotating caster wheels on the bottom. I also fastened the cord to it so it doesn't get tangled up. On the sides of the wheels I have boards screwed to the floor to make a track and a gate latch keeps everything from sliding out. I could see your fridge sliding out of rough roads unless you bungie it. That is an awesome build. You always have the best ideas that are simple but work great.
I have a 92 Ford conversion van and I wonder if the fittings can be pvc. It would be much lighter. Also, because lumber is so expensive now, I may look for a large tray. Someone suggested a lip which may be good also. I really appreciate Brian showing us his process and progress.
I have been here since the beginning & I don't need perfection or big production. Just happy to watch what you are up to & the views you see as you travel, work, play or relax. Don't put such pressure on yourself.😊✌💕

Great design on the table, Brian. I totally understand your reluctance to be on camera. I'm the same way but I'm getting a little better. I have only talked directly to the camera once. Mostly it's just on accident when you see my face. Lol.
Brian, your calming demeanor in delivering your videos contradict your concern. We love that you are willing to share your life, ideas and challenges with us. I'm sorry it is stressful for you. I think I will try the table using pvc instead of metal and perhaps I can find a tray for the table.
You do a great job Brain. I’m like you about being in front of the camera. I’m not a fan of listening to myself. I worked as a dj for 8 years on commercial radio. Hardest part of that job was going over your air check tapes with the program director. Van looks great! Hopefully one we can shake hands and say hello in person. Take care and peace!

I started watching you before you left San Diego. I loved the Christmas van you videoed back then. I can honestly say I still watch your videos for a few reasons. First, you seem like one of the nicest people doing this. The second is you still have a van. Thrid is you are real. I do appreciate the hard work that you put into your videos. No worries buddy. That DIY table saved you about $350-400 over buying the Lugan (not sure on spelling) tables!!! You are sooo smart!! And thanks for sharing your simple internet system. Everything you do is simpler and easier than what we see others do. Blessings to you!
Thank you for the tour. You do a much better job on your videos than you give yourself credit for. The fittings with male & female threads are called "street" elbows, in case you want to impress someone in an orange apron.
I’m surprised he hasn’t discovered you can cut those handles off and gain a bunch more space. I did with mine long ago. My two containers are used with fresh in one, hard boiled in the other.
eggs don't go bad at room temperature. but they do attract a lot of rodents especially while camping. You will see roaches, frogs, snakes, turtles everywere when camping. Kinda neat lol. But yeah eggs dont even go bad. If you have limited space in your fridge just remove the eggs. They use to taste better at room temperature. Some changed the room temperature egg flavor lol
I love those egg containers they come in 2, 6, 12, and 18 egg size. They are inexpensive and protect the eggs really well. I backpack with the 2 egg one and have carried eggs for a week raw and they cooked up fine. I have never gotten home with one though because every time I am leaving the trail, a backpacker that is hiking on and would use it is gifted it. The 2 egg container is around $1 and the most expensive one is only $6. Safe travels.
@Michael Nieves It’s good to remember that room temperature in a van can be way higher than home room temp. It was 105F in my van the other day. Not trying to cook the eggs before I’m ready to eat them!🤣🤣✌🏼
The only thing I would change on your table is to add a lip around the perimeter as they have on sailboat counters. Because you can never be perfectly level and the table spins, the lip would keep things from sliding off the edge. Just a thought.
I agree with a lot of the other comments. We're not interested in the perfect Brian, we like Brian. Stumbling over wordsand making mistakes is human. All it does is make you more enduring.
