Welcome to my latest DIY video where I'll be building my 4th book nook using the Cutebee Magic Pharmacist edition from DIY World. This miniature house diorama kit is perfect for anyone who loves books and creating miniature worlds.

I love these. The lights give it such a beautiful look, but the wiring is IMO the toughest part. lol

I find that even after doing a few, in some builds the wiring is just too much, luckily amazon sell some led light wires

C12 is not used in the build, it's a tool to help you push out small details from their frames! I used it to scrape away excess glue

I just got done finishing mine. I used this video for clarifications. Only hard part was the cauldron,2 of the springy wood pieces broke. Would you believe me if I told you I completed it all using Elmers white school glue?

good job on finishing it, whenever it breaks just add more glue to it hahahaha I haven't tried Elmers glue, do you like how it sticks?

Yes actually. If you use a thin amount it becomes tacky, Only issue i had with the glue was the bead not sticking to the post for the crystal ball, but I got it. I think having the fan on full blast on my desk helped it dry too. I think I will buy some proper glue for my next kit, I'm buying the Cute Bee - Bamboo Charm doll house next. @@ancadiyadventures☺

I am struggling with the cauldron, I can't seem to get the pieces to stay, any tips or advice to help me through this step would be greatly appreciated. and what is part c12 for? Does the cauldron spoon get glued to it or something?

this is a great video thank! I have a question, so, do you cut most of the paper, even though it's stickers? like the flags, for example, you never remove the back paper? They didn't put glue in the step when you hang them so I wasn't sure

mine didn't come with stickers for the flags, I had to cut them out - they must have done that for the new versions. Usually I cut out everything before starting a new build, if it's stickers I'll be happy because it'll be faster to build. But the majority of the kits don't have the stickers

Do you have to paint some elements. A lot look like they are lighter wood then they are suddenly darker (e.g., shelf either cat on top of it).

Hi 👋 - on their website, they sell a dust cover that's placed in front so no dust can enter it. It works for this one but not for all of them so best check before buying :)

I'm confused about c8 the skull post to go in the cauldron and c12 light brown paddle shaped piece. Am I to glue c8 to c12 and put both in the cauldron?

just the C8 needs to be added to the cauldron, at least that's how I did it. I think c12 is used for making the cauldron, to push the pieces in with it

Thanks for helping. I was watching another book nook video and he used that extra piece to help push some of the small pieces off their board. So maybe the directions meant to push the cauldron stick out with c12 because it is so thin.

usually c12 is meant to remove pieces from the board, so you won't break them, I'd suggest keeping them as other miniature kits don't have them

Hey there, ive finally discovered where to get these book nooks after seeing them online and wanting them forever! Can you explain what tools you used that didnt come with the set? e.g. batteries, glue, tweezers? I want to know what to get haha

hi 👋 I've added in the description link to the tool kit I'm using and the glue, you can find there the links for where to buy the kit as well. Mostly you need a file, some parts need to be filed down and glue. If you have any questions ask away haha

the first book nook, I'd say 4-5 days, it depends on how much you do in a day, the more you build the easier it gets and it's fun 🤩

Did you actually build in 35min? God your so neat, I see my area w paper scraps an glue everywhere! What glue do you recommend (since you have done others that have now been dry awhile)

I wish haha, it takes quite a few videos and a lot of editing to get it down to 35min - I usually cut the paper first I find it the most tedious thing in a build. I have glue links in the description - I’m using Uhu atm as it dries fast and I don’t have to spend a lot it time waiting on it - I hope this helps 😊

@ancadiyadventures Thank you .I ordered a sailor book nook and the magic shop. The last one I did was actually wooden pieces more so than the new paper doll houses. Have you ever heard or used Temu? It's worth it, from China in less than 7 days, $5 if not on time, and if you don't like it, you get to keep it with your money back. They have all the craft bee book nooks.

I ordered the last time on Temu and it arrived quite fast and I liked what I've bought - but again that was my experience. Enjoy building the book nooks - both are fun ones to make ❤️

first glue the bendy part to the rounded part, let them dry out, I've started adding them one by one to the base, after adding all of them I added the top one and inserted them one by one. Ugh I hope this makes sense, if not I'll check the guide and tell you by parts lol I really hope it helps

I am struggling so much with the cauldron!! I also broke a perforated piece. The C4 and C2 pieces seem too loose and it keeps falling apart. I am getting really frustrated. Let me know if you come up with a solution!

hi, glad you liked the video, at 0:42 that's the turn off/on button, the one I'm sticking to the left of the board. I suggest putting some batteries in and test the touch pad before installing everything together, good luck :)

Did you glue the sensor? I only taped it and it doesn't work when I touch the board but it turns on when I touch directly

@@taunismausi I’m having this problem as well! Sensor works when touched directly, but not through the board. Were you able to figure it out?

@@samanthacotton5898 After some trial and error, taping the sensor area directly to the board so that it is as flush as possible worked well. The touch sensor needs to be facing upward against the bottom of the board.

are you talking about the one at the bottom? of course you can glue it. In some kits the pieces are tight and don't need to be glued but if it needs to be glued in yours I don't see why you can't do it :)

even if you don't place it perfectly on top of the on/off button it'll still work but you have to tap around it until you find it. The back side doesn't have a marker of where to place it and I think the touch sensor isn't as sensitive as it could be. Hope this helps :)

the shortest one goes in the middle( 15cm) the 22cm one goes in the side
