MAN that’s a whole lotta wood in that bed huh!?? Nicely done though… I particularly like the cross bridging design on that top bunk, & the projector screen is a nice touch for the kiddos!!
Hi, I’ve learned a lot from your video, thanks for sharing. May I ask if you are using untreated timber or treated? Would you have concern if using treated interior framing timber? Thanks.
So you framed the whole bed. Was it attached to the wall (0:10)? What is the size of the front posts. What is the size from post to post? From wall to wall? BTW, lovely design and color!
Yes it is fixed to the wall at the back and left. The walls are all solid concrete. The two posts are 6 x 6 inch larch wood. One is fixed to the wall with 2x 250mm anchors and the other is both fixed to the ground and to a joist in the roof. The width of the room is roughly 3.25 Metres wide
That was nice, but it wasn't instructional. Do you have a blueprint for that or have step by step instructions with material list. We want to do that exact one in our children's room.
Hi, I drew up roughwork plans myself, not blueprints and bought materials as I needed them. I did not set out to make an instructional video as I'm not a carpenter/builder/contractor.... my day job is a Maths & Physics high school teacher so this was just a hobby DIY project for my 2 kids which I documented with pics!
