DIY Calendula Salve / How To Make A Salve Recipe / Herbal Healing Tutorial
INFUSE HERBAL OIL
280ml Oil of choice
Freshly Dried Calendula Flower heads finely chopped
SALVE GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES
Strainer and fine coffee filter
Heavy based saucepan
Clean storage containers with lids (off)
Australia - 24 x 30 ml Storage Tins amzn.to/3NWmobH
US CA & UK - 30 x 1oz Storage Tin amzn.to/3DqKG8A
Cutting board
Plastic jug (or heat proof jug)
Measuring tablespoon
140ml Calendula Oil
4 tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil
4 tablespoons of melted Bees wax
CALENDULA SALVE RECIPE
In saucepan add Infused Calendula oil, Coconut oil and beeswax
Heat until all ingredients are melted and mixed together (NOT TOO HOT)
Remove from heat
Pour into jug and then into storage containers
Let Salves cool and set - don't be tempted to touch them
Put lids on when completely cool
Label and write use by date

Calendular is one of my favourite salves , I also really love it with Rose petals or lavender buds. So versatile. This is a beautiful video , so easy to follow and fantastic tips. Great job Elissa ❤❤Thank you for sharing lovely ❤

Thanks for sharing. Herbal salves can be beneficial for problems. I have a plantain herb salve I got from Healing Scents healed my itchy heat rash on my cleavage quickly.

Calendula is such an amazing plant! I infuse olive oil with it to make soap but I haven’t tried to make a salve yet!

Your herbs and preparations look wonderful; however my concern is your cooking pot and your storing container look like aluminum…if it is aluminum then all the hard-work is for nothing as the aluminum can leech into the product which has been proven unsafe and causing all other types of ailments. Curious what the tins are actually made of and where they’re made.
