Here we go again with making the dessert candles! Just another vlog/candle making video coming at ya!
I am going to test out the DIY sprinkle candles and try out one wick for these specific wide mouth vessels (by the way, the wick worked out perfectly)! After burning this candle for a few days, it burned for about 60+ hours!

Thank you so much for providing the links to the ingredients! Once it melts a little does the sprinkles start clogging the wick or crackling or do they melt (since they are regular sprinkles). I can’t find wax sprinkles.

No problem at all! Out of all the testing I've done, the sprinkles stay on the wall. A few will come off and they just sink to the bottom of the jar. I've also reused the jar with the same sprinkles and still haven't had any issues. Hope this help :)

The candles look amazing! Just curious how the sprinkles last in the wax as it melts. Would they dissolve and then color the wax?

Thanks Nicole! Shockingly, the sprinkles hold up pretty well to the walls. As the color of the wax changing, I haven't seen that until it burns down to the very bottom and the wick is about done.

Thank you so much! The frosting is the same way as far a FO goes. Add your percentage to your wax and let it cool for a while and just keep whipping it up until your happy with the consistency.

When I made them, it didn't have any problems during the full burn. I have the sprinkles listed in the amazon storefront in the description you'll find the link.

Looks beautiful nearly good enough to eat, I tried this once before but when I lit the candle it just tunnelled threw the whipping to the solid wax base underneath... Why would this have happened my container was 300ml I used the right size wick for the jar... ty

My recommendation is to test several wicks until you figure out what works best for you.

These are adorable!! What kind of glitter are you using? I checked on your Amazon list and couldn't find the glitter in the spray bottle. Did you just use the glitter acrylic paint?

I pour my wax at 135 for my birthday cake candles and the sprinkles don’t melt when I pour even then.

@@MalenasCreations yeah I definitely was too 😊. You never know what in the world is going to happen experimenting with new candle ideas! I’m going to be trying the wax frosting for the first time tomorrow. I’m getting my vanilla ice cream and root scents in and I’m going to be trying out a root beer float candle and I am so psyched to see how it turns out!

Pretty, however im almost positive youre not meant to burn the mod podge, as well as the real edible sprinkles girl. Lol try an alternative babe. Seriously. Mod podge is glue.

Hey, hi! I know this is a late question, but I only now discovered your video (which is great, by the way). So, what I'd like to ask is what FO did you use? I mean, is it, like, on FO that smells like latte with cookies, did you have to mix various FO's to get that smell or is your FO totally irrevelevant? Thank you so much for your time!

Don't play with fragrances if you don't know ow how it's composition works. It can be pretty harmful. They are a lot of scents on the market already mixed and sace to use. And oh yes, do not add mod podge or food sprinkles on a candle, just wax embeds

How do you clean out the piping bags and nozzle? Do we let them sit in hot water?

I don't clean the piping bag, unfortunately I throw them out or keep them if I'm using it again with the same fragrance. The piping tip/nozzle I use a heat gun to clean most of the wax off and also to clean out my bowls, then wipe them out.

How long did you make the molds before you made the candle? Is it safe or okay to make molds 2 weeks prior to making the candle? if so, how do you store it? Do the molds have to cure too?

Once I sprinkle them I wait about a day until I pour the wax if that's what your asking. I let them cure for a few weeks after that.

They stay against the wall of the vessel and if they do come off, they sink to the bottom.

I've never tried or used beeswax, so not sure. Most of my customers are vegan so I don't use beeswax :( If you try it let me know. I'm curious to see of it works. Thanks for watching!
