Malena's Creations has luxurious "dessert like" handmade face, body and candles products.
Through my videos this will allow you to get to know me personally. l will be sharing some makeup tutorials, product reviews, clothing hauls, workout routines, recipes for healthy eating, soap and candle making and also my lifestyle.
Malena's Creations is something I'm very proud of. I have run this business solely, and all product ideas have come directly from me, the owner. I hand make every item I sell and take care in not only the product development and creation, but also the packaging and presentation. I see every item I create as a small part of me being invited in to someone's home.

Im not sure if you should be jamming a wooden stick into a silicone mold that is easily scratched. May I suggest using a silicone stick, brush or tool so you dont destroy such expensive and beautiful molds. Be careful with them.
Thanks, Annette! The company that sold the custom lid is no longer to be found. I did however find another company that can make them. Boowan Nicole's Website boowannicole.com
Just started following you, HI 😊, love love love your concrete vessels, I made my 1st one yesterday, still get so excited over 1st creations lol. Question, please can you tell me where you had you name printed on your lids 'mold' from, Your candles are so so pretty x😊
Thanks for subbing! So glad you liked the videos and you are enjoying making them. The lids in this video were made by an Etsy seller. I am not able to find them anymore. Not sure if they went out of business or changed their name. You can checkout my latest video where I made more vessels and that company can make custom lids. Best of luck with your vessel-making journey!
Are you still making concrete vessels 2 years after filming this? What is the name of the company you get your molds from? Also what model of circuit do you use? Thanks. Your creations are beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Joan, thank you! I am currently working on a few more candle-making videos, so make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss out on more details. I have a storefront link in the description where you can find everything I used in the video listed to purchase if you'd like to make your own.
Hi! I was wondering if it's safe to paint the inside of a concrete vessel with water based acrylic paint? Then use earth safe finish to seal. Would it be a fire hazard? Btw. I've learned so much from your videos! ❤️
Hi Kim, thank you so much for watching my videos! I've never tried painting the inside. I would recommend making one and see how it tests. I do not know if it would be a fire hazard or not.
Mica powder and glitter gets covered in cement... sometimes comes to the surface... but if you want to color it... add cement powder coloring like you do to color grout. Paint will also color your cement.
I tried the Hydrodip method, but I didn't quite have great results - I'm wondering if it is because I used enamel-based spray paint? (And I'm wondering if it will be safe for me to use to make them into candles now.... oof)
It's just all a matter of testing them. It's the process we candlemakers have to go through. I haven't made the hydro dip vessels in a long time. I'm always doing new projects all the time.
To avoid bobbles it's better to pour the concrete on one of the sides of the mold, fill it from the bottom up, and let it push the air out from the bottom up, instead of pouring it in the highest spot.
I realize this is an older video, but the links provided to where to buy the mold is not working. It doesn't appear the owner of the shop has an Etsy storefront any longer (?)
What wick exactly did you get from there and size this would save me so much time than buying a whole kit to test it for that size container that you were using in this video. Would really appreciate that. Thank you so much and this is a great video.
