Try this DIY car upholstery cleaner when you need to get out stains and dirt on your car's interior. This homemade recipe can be used on fabric seats as well as the dash and doors.
This all purpose car cleaner is great to use before you sell your car as well.
Make sure to vacuum the interior before you spray. Keep the doors and windows open while cleaning to prevent the vinegar smell from becoming too strong.

I just use white vinegar , water and little soap. What i do different is i get a bunch of white towels and i wipe the seats down after i give a light scrub. Leave the windows open to let the vinrgar smell disapate . Might take a day or two.

-1 Cup Hrdrogen Peroxide -3 Tbs. Dish Soap (Perferably clear) -2 Tbs. Vinegar Then fill to 16 Ounce line in Spray Bottle with Hot Water

do you rinse afterward? I find that if the soap is left on, the residue attracts dirt quicker

I tried this in my car, which was very dirty! It worked well, however I had an issue trying to get out a coffee stain. A whole cup of coffee had spilled on the seat, and every time I scrubbed, the coffee would come out and then the brush and foam turned black and spread all over the seat. I felt like I was just scrubbing it around. How do I actually get it out of the seat? I tried wiping the scrub foam with paper towels and they turned black every time, but it was an endless task and there is still tons of coffee in the seat after a few hours of scrubbing! Thank you! I would love any tips!! :D

Hi there, the hydrogen peroxide ate through the piece of clothes I used to clean with. Now I'm worried about my couch did that happen to you. I used the 3% hydrogen peroxide by the way.

You add water to it. Then let it sit for 1min.. Then use a rag to dry it.

I would leave the hydrogen peroxide out and replace it with alcohol, peroxide can stain and eat through some certain fabrics

The peroxide is very dilute, so it only helps to get the dirt to loosen, so you can remove it. It's probablthe 5% type, not the medicinal 30% peroxide.

Um, Don't mix hydrogen peroxide and vinegar together in the same mixture. This can create peracetic acid, which may be toxic and can irritate your throat and lungs, eyes and skin.
