Good work! I just want to say to all you doing a build or wishing to. I'm not an advocate of aliexpress. But it'd how I bought my fiber it was all cutoffs. Its strong and was 16 bucks a meter. Resin I got local. Use epoxy olfor a frame its stronger. I used vinylester as my parts get exposed to fuel. But be does not adhere to carbon good. Honestly a fiberglass bike is a super cheap option. Check out some bike books with one offs. Some do not use vaccum just like this guy.

i'm worry about this frame strength and durability.. will it work only by sticking carbon sheets and resin without any molding compressing, vacuum effect and heating?

This is a sweet time-lapse of how to not build a carbon bike. oK, that is maybe a little over-stated, but he is wearing a particulate mask for carcinogenous gasses in confined space. There is even some chance of an explosion, not just getting cancer or a headache or irreversible nervous system damage. Simple fix: Harbor Freight has a $15-20 mask for fumes and it lasts a long time if you are using it only occasionally. As far as the quality of the build, that's enough carbon, but is it first wiped (impregnated) with epoxy, and then secondly, is it quickly compressed before too much time goes by, so that the tubes have strength. Voids in the carbon, air bubbles and non-compressed areas, will be weak and break and crack and then, voila, one day you are rolling along a 5,000' decent at 75 Kph and ... you die. Carbon fails magically... not something to mess with unless you have an engineering degree and a lot of experience... or a week or two to study with a builder, there's a lot you can screw up real fast. People try to reverse-wrap with electrical tape, but that is not a reasonable method, it is imprecise and you will have areas of weakness and that will catch up to you and you will end up with a broken hip/head/dead. I am considering building a single-wheel trailer, but even that is quite challenging, at least to do a good job. Good luck on whatever your project may be! Just be careful and prudent, not penny wise and pound foolish. Know when it make sense to spend some money.

how did you join the rear gear to the carbon fiber?

its polystyrene,when the exterior is complete you pour hydrogen peroxide internally to melt the polystyrene.

How did you get the Styropor out?

how did you prepare the head of the frame for the bearing?

im no engineer but the corners should be made up of stronger carbon fiber/kevlar strips.

I had the exact same idea of using styrofoam to wrap with carbon fiber. However my iea is to use ace bandage width pieces and just wrap it around instead of cutting pieces which I feel is worse. Then I will do a layer of silk to increase toughness then perhaps another layer of carbon fiber. I cannot believe this!! And who will be stupid crazy enough to test ride this? Please upload a video of the test ride, or better still live stream it, with GoPros on the front, the back and on your helmet. Wear lots of MX body armour and prey to the man up there that you will not meet him before the end of the test ride. Then, after the test ride dismantle the thing and bin it. Pleased do this!!! Ha Ha ha!!!!
