Hey Everyone! This week’s video is on our newest chicken tractors!!! This design is so much better than the last ones we’ve built and was easier on the back and wallet. Thanks to Living Traditions Homestead for the great idea and be sure to check out their channel as well for many great ideas! This tractor build did not take very long at all and we’ve had 2 rounds of chickens through them now and loved them. The only downside for us is when it’s time for harvesting the meat birds, we will have to invest in a net perhaps to reach the chickens a little easier as you aren’t able to walk in these 3 foot tall homes. Other than that, its a one person job to move them and has been such a relief compared to the work of the last tractors we had however, those tractors didn’t go to waste. They are now our permanent chicken coops that work out super well.
