Not sure if I can say this since I used to work at edibles but just a tip, if you’re going to do an arrangement like that, I suggest starting at the top and work your way down. This is because it helps to center your arrangement and gives it a uniformed look. It also helps to prevent it from looking lopsided. Either way, I’ve seen my coworkers do it both ways, but if you’re like me, then choose your pointiest strawberry and place it right at the center, higher above the others
You can buy stuff at the grocery to put into your rinse water to get the sprays, etc off. The main ingredient is white vinegar. I just add white vinegar to my water. Lots cheaper. Also I want to caution people to Always wash your fruit/vegetables. They come from countries where their sanitation is less strict than ours. I used to be a produce broker for my area farmers, organics & conventional & helped them get it boxed, etc. I would still wash mine. You have given me motivation to give this a try. tfs ♥️
The thing about Edible Arrangements is they made some deal with the devil because their fruit is always sweet and ripe. They use real chocolate which tastes much better than candy melts and the vase is ceramic. That said, it is more than I've ever wanted to pay for fruit. Very clever drying rack! Much more earth-friendly than styrofoam. Your projects always look adorable. Such a sweet Valentine gift.
Thank you for this video 💖 it’s helping a lot , I’m trying to make it for Mother’s Day this Sunday 💖 For my mother , my mother in law , and my sister in law she just became a mother last month💖
I love this tutorial I did end up making 2 strawberry Arrangements. They turned out perfect. I wasn't able to find the skewers or that baking sheet that you used at Dollar tree. I did find the skewers at the grocery store and I also found the same pan at Dollar General.. I didn't end up using it. What I end up doing was using a box the same way you did and I opened up a to-go container and stuck the skewers through the to go container. That end up working just fine this was something I already had in my house. I also ended up using "almond brick" from Aldi's.. I hope sharing this will help someone else in case they can't find all the materials a Dollar Tree and Michael's. I also use green basket grass or string.. I'm actually not sure what you call it but the stuffing that you wood use when you're making a gift basket. the person I was making it for did not like mint and this was something that I already had in my house.
