Just shows what you can achieve with a cheap'ish laser, even if you have no artistic abilities (like me), there will be tons of free stuff on the internet which you can use ... excellent 👍 Especially liked the last item, would've been even better with a few different coloured gels over the LEDs.

Yes mate you can really make some cool things and amend them with your creativity. The imagination is the only limit here 😅

Hi mate... Top ideas again, I've got a NEJE 2S Max 30w laser setup myself, and churning out miniature houses/baubles/door signs/reindeer and sleigh combinations... The laser has a top working area of 800*610mm and gives more option with size limitations. Cost effective, if you can find a decent supplier of laser plywood, but you have to compete with high end laser production sellers also. May I suggest using lightburn software for the laser, you have just a one off subscription and endless options to use with the laser, but I noticed traveling lines between each cut location? You will need to check the software to adjust your laser settings. Keep up the good work 👍
@CasualDIY
@CasualDIY Год назад
Good setup there. Yes it all depends if you can tap in to your local market I guess
@philbrandon0532
@philbrandon0532 Год назад
@@CasualDIY check your software settings for the laser, think I can see faint travel lines between cutting locations? Are you using air assist?? Give a light sanding to remove edge burn marks also, what setting are you currently using for speed/power/pass to burn? I run 400mm/min on 80% with 2 passes for 3mm plywood (keeps edges cleaner) and air assist. 1 pass would be enough but it darkens the edges more..
@CasualDIY
@CasualDIY Год назад
@@philbrandon0532 it depends which laser Im using. With Ray 5, 150mm/min 100% power for 3-4 mm ply, single pass. But as you say I think it would be better to increase the speed and just do an extra pass for better results.
@i93mcc
@i93mcc Год назад
nice work. can you tell us setings for speed/power you use? for engraving and cutting? how often you clean the lents? thanks
@CasualDIY
@CasualDIY Год назад
I do show the settings in the video in LaserRGBL. I clean the lense depending on use, heavy use I clean it every two days. Sometimes daily (laser works at least 12h per day in the cutting option) it all depends.

Hello Friend !!! What is the maximum thickness it can cut?
@CasualDIY
@CasualDIY Год назад
According to the manufacturer up to 2cm in pine wood. But that's in many passes with heavy charing. I would say up to 8mm plywood and 1cm pine wood for best results.
