DIY Christmas Tree Ornaments

Hi Lisa, I have working on my ornaments and I really enjoy getting ideas from you. For some reason I never thought to make large ornaments. I happen to have a bunch of wood tags (per say) that are about 12” x 5” …I think I’ll just cut them in half and see how that works. You are such an inspiration. God Bless you 💝🤩🐞

So cute. I buy a lot of tissue paper with Christmas etc on them too. If I find paper I like I simply sand it down on the back to thin it out till I see the print on other side. Pretty quick process once you get the hang of it and no more wasting tape pulling off layers. I also buy napkins from Jenny’s and there’s another one you can buy one at a time instead of entire packs the two I buy from are in USA and ship fast and have hundreds and hundreds of napkins. They both are on FB.

That paper is called mulberry paper and you use a wet paint brush to tear it like you do rice paper

These are so pretty Lisa. If I was going to pick a favourite it would be the Stag, Hess beautiful but then I love all the bird ones too so that’s y why I don’t I’ve favourites very often. I just adore all of these. TFS, I have a lot of smaller wood pieces that I can use. Once I start when I’ve moved and settled in if anyone wants me they are going to find me doing craft cos it’s been so long since I’ve had a decent space that I’m going to hibernate lol. I have other big pieces of wood too but no way to cut them. You take care my good friend and have a blessed day.

I bought a 50-pack of 4" wood round ornaments to decoupage for an early Dec craft fair and you have given me even more ideas. Adding more dimention truly turns pretty to gorgeous!
