In this video I turn my sons messy disorganized closet into a nice functional space for less than $200 by upgrading the bi-fold doors and building custom cabinets with drawers. Music by CreatorMix.com
Your videos are very relaxing to and satisfying to watch. Most DIY videos are talk-heavy, but I like watching your process. I would love to see your "preferred tools" list. Thanks for making this kind of home DIY feel more accessible to ordinary folks.
That’s very kind of you. Thanks for watching. I wouldn’t focus too much on tools if you’re just starting out. Technique will serve you better. Better tools just make it easier and quicker. Kreg makes lots of beginner friendly products. Their pocket hole jig really opened my eyes to joinery. Once you learn to join two pieces of wood together it opens Pandora’s box to what you can build. Cabinets, drawers, faces, etc…Also their accu cut saw guide is great for ripping a large piece of plywood accurately. Then the skies the limit. Go build something
Really nice!! I appreciate the simplicity and functionality of the dresser and upper cabinet, with a built in "counter" and how it's modular, and you can move it if needed. This is a perfect design for a spot in our kitchen, where I need a pantry with drawers and counter and upper shelves! This would be so great too, with tall pull out garbage can drawers in the bottom half in place of the multiple drawers. Love it!
