Hi Kavish, I have a suggested improvement on DIY CO2. I have tried a normal DIY CO2 in my aquarium but it runs out pretty fast. So now I mix sugar powder with CMC (carboxy methyl cellulose) which is a gelling agent and sodium polyacrylate which is a drying agent. The above mix should be put in a bottle and then water should be added, shaken well and put aside. In a few hours you'd have sugar gel. Then you can add yeast and some amount of water to it. This would produce CO2. Lasts longer than a normal DIY. Apparatus remains unchanged.

Great video, really liked it. Just one comment about dosing the CO2 through the power head; the nitrifying bacterium is aerobic and usually harboring in the filter, and filter is connected near to power head usually. Pumping CO2 through the filter is not healthy for nitrifying bacterium

You mentioned to use 5 litre one ... One should use only the aerated drinks bottles.. coz they are meant to handle high pressures.. there have been cases where people used bisleri bottles n all n bottles blasted since they cudnt handle the pressure

Main problem with this is as soon as the pressure builds up its really hard to control the bubble per second..any solution to that ?
