♡I was nervous at first to try this and realized it’s so easy that anyone can do this for less. I usually share beauty and fashion videos but I think this will help you out! I do not need to be tech savvy to do this project. This saved me from buying a new computer anytime soon!
Learn how to install more RAM aka memory and SSD to amp your computer. I showed how to install both methods on my MacBook Pro laptop. If you don’t have a laptop, follow your owner’s manuel. By the way, another thing you can do which will do your mac good, is use the Disk Utility 'repair' function. If you do it once a month it kinda 'refreshes' your computer and makes it less sluggish. Go to Finder and type Disk Utility, then open it. On the left side, there will be a list of drives on your computer, just press the Macintosh HD drive (it will say it twice, one will be under the other, press the one under), and then press 'Repair Disk Permissions'. It will take 10 minutes or so, but it helps.

I have also used Crucial Memory to upgrade my MacBook Pro. The Apple store said I could go up to 8 GB, but CM allowed me to go to 16. I have had no problems since with a faster computer. I'm glad someone else is using it too! :)

nayomi17 It is and save a thousand or more from buying a new computer for awhile =) If you take your computer to the store for an upgrade, you will be charge a few hundred more when you can DIY.

ItsAllThingsMe For now, can boost your old computer with more ram =) Saves you money before buying a new one. Even if you do buy a new one, you can save from upgrading your hard drive and ram from them and do it yourself. It's 2-3 times the cost from apple so I get the stock model and do my own upgrades.

This is such a good video. I like how you diversify your videos. Not that many people are even smart enough to think about this. Once their computer gets slow, its time to buy a new one. Thank you for making the video. RU-vidrs should try to diversify their content and take risk rather than doing the cliche stuff like makeup tutorals the morning rutines, and DIY vases. While these video are fun and safe (because pretty much everyone likes these videos), they should not be the only videos RU-vidrs make. Why not try new things, be actually creative not the fakely creative; Trying creative ideas you found on pinterst that everyone does (like the classic masson jar DIYs. Oh i'm just gonna put some painters tape on a jar and spray paint it. viola!) is not creative!. It ends up not being creative because everyone and their mother knows it now.

My computer is a cheat pro from Dell and I have been using it for the last 4 years daily. I'm kind of a geek and hated my computer around September, when even after a complete purge of the system it still was pretty slow. My computer could not open my navigator withouth lagging. My brother looked into his old computer to get RAM bars which could make my computer go faster (so it was free :) ) and I bought a SSD for my computer which made a hell out of difference! It's a great way to upgrade a coomputer and you can reuse it with a new one later without a problem! Samsung laptops are crappy but they make really good SSD if anyone is wondering!

sunsizzle33 All of my files is on the hard drive to begin with. RAM is the memory used when operating everyday task like browsing web and open more files at once. Your hard drive is your file cabinet that hold every things like your downloads, programs, and documents you saved.

Yes, just look at your owner's manual to see where the ram and hard drive is located. I replace my ram on my desktop too. It's easy.

Yea, it would void when changing the original ram and hard drive but I figure if I ever drop my laptop, I could just switch back to the stock ram cards and hard drive back in to get it fixed by apple for any repairs. Apple care down cover upgrades so you still have to pay 2 to 3 times the amount for more ram and a SSD through them. It's up to you if you feel okay with it.

Jennyfer Caron Always check with Apple Care Guarantee to see if they cover it first, it could save you loads of money.

AlberteTDK It's not broke so they won't change it for free on the Apple Care just to upgrade my computer, but I don't want to pay hundreds at the Apple store for something I can do myself for just the price of the hardware. But I won't have a choice if it voids my Apple Care, because I still have more than a year of guarantee.

I would just DIY the ram and SSD. Keep your stocked ram and SSD for that rainy day of your computer ever breaks and replace it for AppleCare to fix. Best of both worlds.

Lisa Pullano Ok thank you, I looked and changing the RAM and the hard drive aren't unauthorized modification that can voids the Apple Care, but if you damage your Macbook while doing it, it's not guaranteed. If that can help anybody that had the same question!

We are keeping it simple so I don't have to plan much for just the two of us. Just pick a location and be spontaneous. We plan to renewal our vows each so family and friends can attend later on. It's expensive to try to fly everyone and the stress to make everyone happy is different from what we wanted for our day. We just want it to be us and focus on our love so going to elope this summer :) Thanks for asking!
