"My luggage keeps getting lost or stolen" Maybe your suitacses just run away because the first thing you do when you buy a new suitcase is chuck it across the room
It was satisfying to see him welcome it home with a drop test. When I visited Sea-Tac, I was a bit shocked to see how baggage collection started with a steep tall belt that resulted in most bags tumbling and crashing to the bottom. Casey-proof bags need to be a thing everyone.
But who would be dumb enough to steal luggage with someone else's name on it? And then what, try to sell "Casey's luggage" when you're clearly not Casey? You'll just get stopped.
i love how casey gives no shits about materialistic items. Ya he enjoys having them but doesnt sress over them...like seeing him throw that bag and the way he opened his mackbook in one of his more recent videos
king95MK I was just going to say, love his movies etc and he's a great motivator.... but scared for any material possessions around him :) although he showed a lot if love for the bag after he killed it :)
I understand what people mean now by "miss the old casey". Vlogs are great, but these short films inspire creative thinking. Good to come back from time to time. Love you Case!
You obviously don't know how airport personnel treat luggage, because this is nothing compared to what they do to get hundreds of bags packed onto a plane in a matter of minutes. ;)
that doesn't matter when you're a millionaire plus he's damaged close to $100,000 in drones alone not including his camera equipment and lenses that he's damaged probably close to half a million
this is my favorite casey video. I remember when it came out, it was crazy for me. Never thought that I could make things my way by modifying them. started looking at things as practical things instead, not how they are "intented" to be used. really interesting how this video affected me looking back to it 9 years later huh :)
yeah this is one of my favorites and also one I watch before taking a trip because this is when I started traveling so much .. 9 years later and I've been to so many different countries ... just a nice feeling to that which is necessary in life
It's not really a waste. He is actually doing the opposite of wasting. He's using his surroundings and supplies to make something that would cost him more to buy.
Obviously he didn't spend $500 for the bag's appearance, he bought it for the quality. He doesn't care how it looks so he paints on it. Doesn't mean that the bag's quality will be affected (i.e: the wheels, the handles, zippers...)
+jaretosr and Casey is the living proof that you can live the YOLO lifestyle without : smoking, doing drugs, fucking bitches, and/or having a negative effect on the people around him/vandalising.
+jaretosr I'd love to try Caseys take on the YOLO life but I don't have the money to have all the cool stuff. Mind you I hopefully have many years ahead of me to do that :)
GEEZUS!! If I spent $500 on a suitcase I'd have no money left for my trip. Kinda defeats the purpose... I'd be walking. That thing better had come with a TV or an electric ball scratcher or something... Dang!
those who will spend that much on a suit case deserves paying that much for a suit case just cause of a name. besides more than half the time the cheapee will last long than that expensive piece of shit
Trust me a cheap suitcase is not the same thing as a quality suitcase (especially if you travel alot). I have an Oxx Skytrain which is a carryon/backpack and it cost me $300. I wouldn't customize it though :)
dude that just so sick. i legit love your customized things. like you make me want to make things i have, out of the normal/typical/ordinary. like your suitcase, glasses etc. I love it
This film was instrumental to me buying a used a penny board and making me determined to learn how to ride it at the tender age of 57! I'll let you know how it goes! :)
I know! I am perhaps a fool, but I refuse ti give in to that notion! This thing has a tendency to take off on you, it is sooo fast! I sat on it, and I fell off, and it took off down the slant in the parking lot like it wanted nothing to do with me! I am riding it in the living room and drive way now to get used to it. I am traveling and I wanna ride it in an airport soo fucking bad! How's your adventures with the damned thing?
+Claes Sorensson Haha yeah the wheels roll really smoothly. I was surprised at how easily it rolls. I've only tried it once at the park on some trails so I need more practice, it's size doesn't help!
I hope you keep making videos like this Casey. They might not be as good as the vlog, but I still want to learn more from the king of practicality and makeshift modifications :D
this is beautiful! Simply beautiful! You are inspiring me to personalize my things!! I love your mindset on material things!! We treat material things like gold when in reality, their just stuff. Keep doing you!! I feel like I'm commenting on all of your videos. haha I just really enjoy your channel!!
I am on a late night tear doing some unpacking from a recent move and these older videos are the perfect companions. Thank you for being so creative and inspiring, Casey! A random comment, but you would do so well in prison. By that I mean your ability to be so resourceful and versatile with managing to get by with whatever you have at your disposal. Much love and respect from Chicago man!! Peace. ✌
Im a new sub, and I remember coming upon your video about hitting 3 million subs, which was the first video I ever saw on your channel, not to mention it was at random pick which lead me to watching 4 hours of as many videos on your channel as i could watch before knocking out the other night. It really brought my attention to how you throw everything you open or buy, hence I see that as part of your creative side on making videos.Keep up the good work!
Casey, I was on the bus today in Portland, Oregon on a photography trip, and I saw three guys with suitcases just like yours with their names spray painted on and skateboard holders. It is cool how you have an affect on what people do , its almost like your starting a new trend with every video.
Hey Casey. Thank you. You are a inspiration to me, I have recently decided to vlog but didn't really know how or where to start. Still don't, I haven't successfully uploaded my first video yet.....but its coming. I struggle with disabilities therefore my confidence is low to say the least. Anyway bro, I just wanted to thank you. Through your videos I was able to regain some confidence in myself and start recording myself and speaking to my camera. Hope to post soon, You are the best creator and I enjoy your work. Thanks again Casey. Stay safe and be blessed. Jason.
Not only does painting your info/name all over helpful, but it's also a good way to keep your luggage from being stolen because it looks "messy" I actually love this idea
I went through my liked videos and turns out that this is the first video of yours that i watched. It's all gone uphill from this video. Keep it up Casey
i make a conclusion for every video that you uploaded to youtube is: 1. build a trademark that everyone will know 2. think creative and logical to solve the world problem 3. be different in this same look world CMIIW
