Did you moisturize your hair before? Or did you just wash it with shampoo and conditioner? My hair curvature is similar to yours and I am really thinking about cutting it myself,but I am not sure if it will be good or not...it has been a long time since I cut my hair,you know. Last year around this period of the year I had it cut at a beauty salon that is specialized in curls...if you can help with this doubt I will be very thankful ☺️

Right and my curls are tighter than her hair and darker so it will be harder to see my ends realistically 💯 I just twist it and cut the thinner parts of my ends

I don't mean to sound racist but white people have a privilege. Police officers aren't really intimidated by your skin colour. Imagine you have a group of 5 children. One child gets stung by a bee. Are you going to give a bandage to all five of the children? No, you're going to prioritize the child that actually got stung by a bee. Meaning you're going to prioritize black lives matter because we're the ones that are constantly being oppressed. We're the ones that are constantly being mistreated just because of the colour of our skin. All lives will matter once black lives matter.

Hair past the booty is called "classic length", I think the term comes from the fact that long hair was often seen in classic paintings. I have wavy/curly hair that's classic length. :D

Hey beautiful Luhhsette, I’m a cosmetologist and have curly hair like yours and I want you to know you did an amazing job at trimming your ends. I don’t trim curly hair the way I learned in cosmetology school because I’m most cases our tresses are different lengths throughout the hair. I actually trim my hair the same way you do, but I never use heat on my hair so I allow my curls to air dry and then trim them. Again, great job!

I got a Devacut last August (for $150😩) because I was treating myself and my curls to something new and fun! After realizing i could do the same thing for way cheaper, I started cutting my own hair and used this technique and girl it works! I cut it in March and it’s already grown out so much!

U should get Olaplex! It’s great for dry, damaged, and undefined curls. It’s the Olaplex n°3, that’s the cgm approved one. It works BEAUTIFULLY! Definitely recommend! ❤️❤️🔥🔥
It's always does. Bleaching can damage the cuticles of your hair/thin and dry out the hair. It looks pretty at first but when actual healthy hair comes in, then you realize the difference. It still looks great though 💯
I'm a licensed cosmetologist and cutting off dead ends doesn't make your hair grow but does help prevent your hair from breaking which helps you see the growth better. Most hair stylist recommend a trim of about 1/2" every 4-8 weeks to prevent split ends and breakage.
Think of your hair as a braided rope. If the end of the rope starts to unravel it will continue to unravel all the way up the rope. No product have fix split end but can only mend them temporarily.
Must be nice , if you cut my hair while curly you’ll be cutting twice as much as you think , I get my hair cut while it’s straight so it’s even and once I wet it and it curls back up it looks amazing, but I still enjoyed watching this , thanks for sharing 🥰

In some areas you should’ve cut more. Honestly, I like layers too but if it needs to be cut, imma cut it. I can always manipulate my hair to get the shape I want. 🤷🏽♀️
i started to do this and then i ended up doing a mini big chop and cut inches off for no reason😭😭 i don’t know why i did it, my hair is very healthy and all natural but i don’t regret it. it made me focus even more on my hair’s health. i never deep conditioned before and i now do it 2-3 times a month!!!
