Really fantastic info. Thanks! There's not as much info on the TDCi. I managed to get a 2007 puma in great condition. I'm enjoying it a lot. I don't know if it's better than the TD5 but it's definitely a bit more comfortable!
I’d recommend filling the new oil filter and bowel with fresh oil. So that on first start up the oil pump has pick up and isn’t momentarily running dry.
@@offtrackfamily it’s generally accepted in the industry that if you can, then you should. Of course when the filter housing is positioned upright such as with many german cars, it isn’t possible. Most engine wear occurs on cold start up. Anything you can do to stabilize the oil pressure quickly is a good thing
Hi. Thanks for video! Comments on equivalent Ford spec oil. For driving in higher sulphur diesel fuel countries (350ppm S +) use the wss-m2c921”A” or 913”D” oil only. The 913”C” oil is suitable for EU low sulphur diesel fuel use only. Even with the “A” or “D” oil, consider 5000km service intervals when traveling through africa as sulphur ppm can exceed 5000 ppm in some countries.
You can squeeze the top coolant hose near the radiator and you will be able to see the coolant level move in the expansion tank. - despite the semi - opaque design.
Hello, love and thanks for the great video. I’ve done the transfer case, front & rear diff. oil change with your help. I appreciate your great vids. Do you guys look into two stroke oil into your fuel? If so, nice if you could share your thoughts.
Bonjour.
The Oil wont change the overheating problem. Get the PUMA Hood from Nakatanenga and also the bigger intercooler. Especially when you drive longer highway distances.
Hi! thanks! The puma has only one oil filter. two filters was for the TD5 I think but not sure. About the 2.2 not sure if it's the same as 2.4. I saw some cartidge type so it's maybe better to ensure what is the correct filter you need for your exact model and then you can do it. But what is sure it's that the process is almost the same.
We changed the fuel filter during our trip in Montenegro so we won't create a "how to" video for the moment. But we do show a little part when we changed it at the end of our travel video. It's at about 14min30 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nnoiCbWABEw.html Hope it can help.
