I really like this little doily booklets and that you use the off cuts, too! And the little embellishments (?) / cluster, so cute! I just thought of making my own paper with the tiny little paper peaces which I really don't know what to use for, because I can't throw anything away, too.

Another creative look for use pretty much anywhere. Have you done any of these sewing by hand instead of the machine? It would give it a different sort of handmade look. Almost any of your projects where you sew around the edges might be able to be done with a running stitch or blanket stitch.

What if you could use needle and thread to make a prettier edge along the outer edge of the doilies is you were careful not to break down the design?

Curious about the pointed envelope looking insert before you inserted this into your journal. Is it meant to open for journaling in/on? It looks similar to some of the ways i have folded some for journal inserts. ;)

Do something like this with other ideas I love all of ur videos and my favourite of urs is the envelope journal I love it I done it I'm loving it tks for sharing ur ideas

Really enjoyed this project, you make the cutest things and everytime I can't wait to go and try to make them, I just finished making the book labels or book plates , you know the one where you put the brads in them and added the rose in the corner, they go on the front of the journals I believe. Thanks for sharing such great ideas, look forward to your next video.😁

They dry beautifully in the microwave, just do them at 60 - 90 seconds and keep heating til they stop steaming

Hello dear Natasa. That you get inspiration from your bits and off-cuts, rather than only having an idea and gathering materials to achieve it, is an important concept for stimulating creativity. (Listen to me being all philosophical)...but I mean it. I am going to use this approach as I am pretty stumped right now for ideas. Blessings.

These are so lovely. I just made a couple but I think mine are a little too dark?! I dyed the paper and doilies with coffee. I also need to find smaller doilies. I used drier bounce sheets because I didn't have old tea bags, time to start saving them also. ☺♥
