This shelving unit re-cycled into an apartment for your doll turned out beautifully. I love the Barbie Style stone wall on your third floor. I also like your flooring. This apartment looks like modern apartments you see in urban cities. Your faux grass is very ingenious. I like how you decorated your living room. The pink settee on the second floor is cute. I love love LOVE your amazingly creative dollhouse. The window design is genius! The foamcore is so imaginative and practical - easy to do, easy to change and keeps the dollhouse lightweight. I love every floor! I was imagining a rooftop garden with tiny plants in raised beds, maybe just greenery that you could stage little veg and fruit in depending on the season. So many options! So I have a shelf that I have been slowly working to a house but, the way you did the walls is better than mine so I will be using your technic this week when I craft. Thanks for the ideas back to the video.
Very cool and creative! You ladies did a good job on the sky and clouds! You can paint the walls with acrylic paints, I used a sponge (the little ones on dowels), to sponge paint onto the foam board. Two coats covers the white well. The sponge gives it a textured surface when dryed. I love your windows. I'll try that on the next room I do. For flooring I used the fat tongue depressor sized sticks, cut the curved ends off and stained them. Then hot glued them to the foam board floor like a hardwood flooring. Turned out not perfect, but nice. There are several artists on YT that do Barbie rooms and furniture. Olive Avianca, E.D.T.... I'll have to search up the other. (Poppyseed mini) You may know them already, but it's good to see what everyone is doing and get inspired by their works. All us big girls and our dolls..lol. 😘💞💖
This was a really cute idea. I had the sound down and i thiught the pool was a bathtub. It could work that way too. And if you wanted, the fireplace could be reversible to s bookshelf. Or a tv. Maybe a bigger couch could be flipped upsude down into a bed if the backrest and arm rests are the same height to become the support for the bed
I don’t have a tutorial, but I took soft fabric baby shirt that looks like fur and I cut foam rolls in half and wrapped them individually, then glued them on
