I finally found the inspiration photo posted on the kid craft website!! Took me a week to find it but I found it. I am so excited. Thank you for posting!
This transformation was truly amazing! Your attention to ALL the little details was so impressive. My favorite detail was the chandelier w battery tea light - Bravo!
Omg! I found this same house at a goodwill. I too redid the floors and the walls but! I removed some of the walls inside the house to make it viewable from only the front. I took thick boards and glued them on sides an back-paint them hanging pics. -I haven’t done the outside of the walls yet, ideally I would’ve preferred swing it from all sides but it’s so heavy and the room it would take to walk around the house for viewing was impossible. I filled it with Barbie furniture and painted the pieces solid bright colors in honor of the dazzling colors in the new movie
Inspirational! I've acquired an old dollshouse that I'm going to be renovating. First time I've done anything like it so its super scary! You've given me the confidence to go for it! 😘
You are an amazingly talented girl! I am currently building dollhouse for myself. I've wanted one since I was a young child. I'm going to be building mine out of cardboard boxes and then furnishing it little bits and pieces that I've purchased on the way. Youve given me some wonderful ideas for decor, I love the hanging chair that you have used. It's all just simply amazing! Thank you for sharing your talent it's much appreciated! :-)
I personally LOVE it, but I feel like a four year old will like colors and stuff more. She will probably like it but I feel like she would like it more colorful
can you please share the link for decorative paper you used for walls? and also which glue you used? also which white spray paint did you use? I hve the same doll house which I am motivated to DIY after seeing your video :) TIA
I love this! How has the painted furniture/roof/stairs held up? What kind did you use? I am getting this exact dollhouse and hope to change it overtime too!
You should always use primer before you paint, especially on plastic, or the paint will just flake off. I'd hate to see all that effort and creativity go to waste.
