Used your video as a guide to make my cart. Followed the same plans, except for the width. Instead of 48 inches, I went with 40 for my Slayer 10 Max. Thanks.
I was planning on making this but with 3 levels so i could use the top as a workshop table. Seeing this now makes me think it would be too high to be useful as a table(maybe only while standing or sitting on a higher bar stool😅) also it would get in the way of working on the kayak(unless i make a removable too 🤔 😅) Thanks for the diy video!
Well, I wasn’t gonna write this, but I’m also sure you had your reason as to why you didn’t, but you could have just unfastened your left or right top and bottom and cut the sides 3”. This would have made the top ply the correct size. Also, leveling the frame isn’t gonna help if you don’t know your floor is 100% level. Most garages have a slope, even in the garage for drainage. Measuring corner to corner would show you’re square. Bro! Your cart came out sick! Hope to see you out on the water in 2023. The JB weld idea is still holding up strong. The week you posted it, I did it, and still kicking butt, compared to buying a keel guard and slapping it on. 😅🤙🏽
lol i get it, thanks for the feedback. All i know is that my cart is not lopsided and its straight. I playing this year. First stop is Shasta for the WWBT/CABNK 2023
Looks great. Thanks for sharing. Does it seem secure when you move it? In other words, does the frame rack or lean at all with the weight on it? Do you think it woul with kayaks that weigh 120 pounds?
