I have played many brands of guitars and even been to the Gibson guitar factory in Nashville, Tn and played almost every acoustic guitar that they manufacture. I own a 1972 D-28 Martin that I received new and have played it for years until Kenny built me a guitar out in his “Magic Shed”. God must allow the moon and stars to align perfectly over this building, because the finished guitars that come out are truly magical. I seriously have not played my Martin guitar since obtaining one from Kenny Dellinger. If George Strait or any famous musician would ever lay hands on one of Kenny’s creations, they would never buy another brand. Guitars all continue to sound better as they age, but the guitars that Kenny build come with that naturally aged sound from day one and only continue to amaze. God blessed Kenny with many talents but, he gave him a little extra when it came to building a guitar. I loved watching this video and feel very fortunate to be one of the few first time owners of one of these guitars. Again, Thank You Kenny for sharing your talents with the world. God bless you and your family. Sincerely, Rick Brewer 🙏🙏
Hi really enjoyed the guitar build .. I’d love to see more detail on the Jigs’n fixtures you use … also the truss rod build and the shop made tools .. it’s great and valuable content for both beginner and seasoned builders to see the shop made options as opposed to the excessively expensive luthier supply houses.. the pragmatic luthier is another great source of shop made options.. keep up the great work!! Cheers j
Thanks for watching Jason. I'm self taught pre internet so I do things my way. Didn't want to have more invested in tools than my first guitar was worth. I think that's the main reason most people don't attempt their first build. As time permits I'll maybe do another video on some of my jigs. What jigs most interest you?
