1) have u made battery trays for hiluxs . N79 ? 2) how did u wire up the SBI12 ~ blue ang black wires ? Thanks about to do this install on the 2016 76 cruiser
Great looking install. Really makes me want to clean up my system. Previous owner looked like he did it all himself and its a spaghetti western under the bonnet. Im too scared to pull anything apart in case it all stops working.
Sometimes you just have to start from scratch - Start off by removing all the Accessories and then tackle the wiring - best to remove the whole lot and start fresh. Always have a game plan or end goal before you start. if you need any advice or need a solution give us a call
We don't like to either that's why we pick up on factory locations where ever possible - Fitting a battery tray in does require some drilling - if Our instructions are followed there is no detrimental effect on the vehicle
Very nice, I brought my 79 2nd hand and the wiring is a bit all over the shop, would be ideal to have something like this I do have one question though, why would you run both Redarc Isolator as well as Redarc BCDC? Is the isolator just for joining the 2nd battery for cranking when the main is flat ?
So sorry for the late reply - we use the sbi solenoid as a battery link for when you accidentally flatten your main you can crank from your Aux Battery
We have a stainless steel bracket that mounts to Our fuel manager kit to hold the fuse box if required - in most cases these are discarded as they are not actually connected to any electrical accessories
Peter Cooke the DIY deluxe kit is $1790. You can get the basic kit shich doesnt have the sbi or momentary switch and is $1495. Installed at our shop with a Delkor battery is $2250.
