You can use vinegar or Coca-Cola has to be regular Coca-Cola to get rid of the rust on those weights and use Flex Seal it Coats them in a rubber to keep them from ever Rusting again and makes them look brand new
Ronald Sylvia I built one using bed frames to set the dumbbells on. I uploaded a video about it, I’d appreciate some feedback on the work I did. Thanks lol
Wow Nelson that is amazingly simple and cheap I love it thanks this saved me a lot of $$ and time. I see a lot of videos but they are all welding... I do not have anything to weld with but I do however have a lot of wood working tools. Thanks again.
Great design fella. The only problem I can see is you slicing your hand or catching your clothing on the sharp angle iron corners. I'd round them off with a grinder. Great job tho.
You did a real good job. I'm going to make me one. I'm going to subscribe. You come up with some good idea's. I'm a handyman making myself one is no problem. Thanks
i did the same with L shaped frame but a put a rubber strip along the top edge of the L frame so as not to cut myself when placing the heavy dumbell on the rack after a workout
Worked out great! Thanks a lot for the video! Was able to make the same rack for around 40. Was a little bit more expensive then what you paid, but still cheaper then buying a new dumbbell rack!
Make one bedframe that is closer a little lower than the one in the back so that you can grip them better and they'll be facing you more as a show case as well but vary nice
fog561 I cant really tell you. It is the same size, as like a bed frame.. I went to a metal scrap yard and they had about 30 of them just in a pile. They were about 10 ft long and I just cut them down with a recuperating saw, with a metal blade.
Mr.Chevy 4000 it's doing great. I just had to add a little piece of 2 x 4 in the middle of the bottom rack as the top metal was bending in ward toward the bottom metal
