One addition I would suggest would be adding bed frame rails, by bolting those onto the wood to hold your weights in place this would be easy to do because people literally throw them out or donate them to Goodwill stores on a regular basis

I like it, but I think you could have made little slits where the handle of the dumbbell could rest, but I'm not sure how hard that would be I'm only now getting into woodworking,

How long are the 2x4 you attached to the legs? I'm trying to make a similar dumbbell rack before my dumbbells arrive.

He built its withe a platform that would leave the weights sitting flat. Yet the picture at the end made them look like they were on an angle. Was this just the angle he took the picture at or am I missing something here?

They are flat, it's the picture that makes it look angled.

This looks like just what I need. Do you mind telling what sizes boards you used for each of the pieces? I’m guessing the long boards are 2x4x. What about the posts?

The posts are approx 2.5 x 3.5 inch. The long ones are approx 1.5 x 2.5 inch

Cody Sticka Dimensions will vary according to your dumbbells. Style/Amount etc.

Too much screws and wood, 2x4, 4x4,etc, saws, drills, impact drivers, etc...might as well buy from titan or rogue

$1200 track saw......save money building dumbbell rack. Also, rubber coated dumbbells = approx. $2/lbs vs cast iron = $1.25/lbs. Good video, just funny.

Track saw is probably $600. You can use a saw, but why not use the tools available? =)
