Hi everyone! Let's make some EASY & ELEGANT Christmas tree ornaments with supplies you probably already have in your home! All you need is some yarn (or macrame cord) for the tree, twine for the tree base and hook, cardboard for the tree base, scissors, glue, and maybe some embroidery floss, ribbon, beads, or sequins to decorate the trees. Hope you enjoy the video and are having a wonderful holiday crafting season!

Make sure your glue is hot enough. Maybe preheat your gun for 15 minutes before using?

These are sooooo cute. I did the same thing but made stars. We used to own a motel so I always had plenty of white sheets. Well, when we retired the old sheets I didn’t want to just throw them away. Too good to throw but too worn to use in most things. So, I ripped them into stripes and used this as my wrap for my stars. They turned out so nice. At Valentine’s Day, I made hearts and wrapped again with the sheets after dying them red and pink. Super easy, super fun and cheap for me. Green for St. Patty’s day with wrapped clovers. I like crafting just a little bit! Ha! Plus, being a business, I always wanted to decorate my lobby. More inviting I believe. Anyway, you get the idea. Thanks so much for sharing this adorable craft. ❤️💜💚

There isn’t a link. You just cut out a triangle shape on cardboard..or cereal box to make the tree shape. It is demonstrated in the video how to get the right measurements.

Thank you for sharing this pattern. My 3 grandsons & I make new ornaments each year for their tree & mine. This will be perfect for them. I'll have the 10yr old use elmers glue instead of the glue gun. The other 2 are 14 & 17 so they can use the glue gun asfely.

To get the glue threads off when you are finished, use your hair dryer on high they will melt away.

I can’t find any straight sided tree forms on Amazon. I found some in the UK and one on Etsy that takes two weeks to deliver. Can you provide the link to the forms you use in this tutorial?? I looked all over Amazon and only find the non straight tree forms!! Thank you!!! Ps This is the first Christmas project that made me excited to try in a very long time!!!!!!

There is no form. Just cut out cardboard in a triangle as I demonstrated in video.

There is no pattern..I show how to create one in the beginning of the video. Basically, its a long triangle shape for the tree and a small rectangle at the bottom for the tree trunk.

You can cut any piece of cardboard into triangles. That’s what I did and show how in the video.

Love these cute little tree ornaments. I think they would be great for gift wrapping embellishments and even a rustic pendant for the artsy-crafty person. I'd definitely wear one.
