Wonderful! My heart absolutely beams when I hear that viewers are able to make these projects with the children in their lives! Not only will you be making cute little gnomes together, but you will also be making a memory with your granddaughter that she will remember throughout her life and possibly recreate with her own grandchildren someday. So special!
This is exactly what I was thinking. I am moving to a house right across the street fine my son and daughter-in-love. (They bought me a home). I am so excited to “art) with three of my grandchildren that will live s close!!♥️
I make ones very similar to these. When I first started…my husband bought me 100 wood balls for noses. I laughed and told him I’d never use 100 of them. Well…we had to buy more last week. Totally addictive. ❤
Excellent tutorial- clear instructions, no music blaring in the background . Much appreciated. Happy holidays. 🥰🥰 I’m going to add a touch of rose to the nose!
These are awesome! I did a variation with different material for the beard (I used a Dollar Tree cotton mophead, cut off about 13 strands from the mophead, and then unfurled each strand, which has 4 fibers per strand). It came out amazing!
Girl… I am obsessed with your little gnome ornaments! I was so inspired that I went out and bought some Dollar Tree yarn and went on a mission. I made three different colors today. Thank you so much for the excellent instruction. I could do these in my sleep now. Be safe!
I'm not crazy about most of the Gnomes I've seen, but thanks to your video, I have finally found a Gnome I not only like, but want to make. These are adorable!! Thank You for Sharing your Time, and Your Talent with all of us.
Thanks so much for this! It’s a rainy day and I’m so bored! I have all the supplies to make some of these and now I feel inspired! Perfect little gifts for relatives and friends at Christmas 😊 I have some red beads so some of mine will have red noses 😄
You are a great teacher. Giving easy to follow ,detailed directions to complete a really nice project. They look so much better than more expensive gnomes in retail stores. Thank you and merry Christmas
Hi Toni, I’m here watching this September 2022! This was such an amazing tutorial! I watched some of the other gnome videos and this one was definitely the best! Instructions were easy to understand, clear and easy to follow! Great job Z! You brought a lot of happiness and joy to your viewers! Holiday season 2022 will be here before you know it! 🥰🎄🎅🏻🤶🧑🎄☃️❄️
Hey,I'm watching 23rd Sept 22. I'm definitely going to be making these, it's the best tutorial I've seen for them. Sending love, all the way from Scotland xxx
@@scottishmamaof5559 sending you love right back from New Jersey USA! Gnomes can be made for any season/holiday! Just gotta let your crafty imagination go to work and let the fun begin! Have a wonderful holiday season ScottishMama Of5!🥰🎄🎅🏻🧑🎄🤶🤶🤶🤶🤶
First I love this idea and plan to use it this Christmas for my two special grand nieces and grand nephew and make them in their favorite characters colors. I have an idea on how to attach nose bead on without the hot glue. Take one or two strands of yarn from center and tie bead then tuck the side with the tied yarn on it under the hat. I'm not sure how much better this would be but in my head it worked 😃
Thank you for such clear and easy instructions! These gnomes are adorable 🥰 and now everyone I know will be getting one this Christmas ☺️🎄greetings and best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧 🌺
According to Scandinavian lore these are not gnomes...they are gonks a mixture of gnomes and hobgoblins..a gnome is a small bearded man with a pointy hat..you can see the whole face
Adorable! I'm definitely making these this year. I'm heading over to your YT channel to see what other goodies I can make! Thanks for sharing. Hugs from Ireland.
Thanks for a great video. So cute I LOVE them!! I live in a Nursing Home and wanted to make something special for family and friends this is perfect 😀❤️❤️❤️ Denise from VA
Made these with my girls last night with It’s a Wonderful Life playing in the background. The first ones took awhile but afterwards we were addicted and made several. My girls asked me to keep the supplies handy…we’ll keep making them throughout the season! Thanks so much for this tutorial! Merry Christmas!🎄
Thank you so much for this tutorial that includes suggested measurements!!! Great job! Now I’m excited to make these. Other videos never give any clue as to how long the hat yarn should be or how many times to wrap around for the beard!
Hi Toni! Here it is October already! Seems like we just said goodbye to summer a week ago! Seasons fly by so fast, especially as you get older! So my 70 year old self is saving up as many toilet paper rolls as I can so I can get busy digging out all my winter craft supplies and start creating my own little gnome village! You are so right, the more you make these the easier it gets and I watch your video whenever I get the chance, to tell you the truth your voice is so cheerful and relaxing! My grandkids and I will have so much fun making these little gnomes and they will become precious keepsakes for me, memories of our happy times together! So everybody start saving up your toilet paper rolls and let the fun begin!❤️🧻
Great tutorial 😊Last year I was bitten by the gnome bug. I bought a bunch for the house and this year, I'll make these for the tree!! I'm psyched, thx!!
This tutorial is A++. I’m always looking for crafts to do with my mother when she stays with us. She is 89 years old and knits and cross stitches like a machine, and she loves crafts, so this will be PERFECT for us when she comes on the weekend. I’ve already made a couple of gnomes, and I’m addicted!! Thank you so very much.❤
Awesome! Easy to understand tutorial, well executed. I've been struggling on what to get my brother and his fiancee for Christmas, I think a couple of these pals will be great.
I absolutely love this.. I had everything I needed here at home to start making these !.. I made 30 of them for our Mingle Jingle Christmas Store to sell for the Missions at church !! Thank you !!!
SUPER cute!! I LOVE these!! Thank you so much for a great detailed and easy-to-understand tutorial!!! I have two large bins of old yarn (garage sale find and left-over crochet projects) so I will be making many of these! Plus I have many MANY podcasts that I want to listen to and this gives me an excuse to watch/listen to them and still be productive! Thank you again!!
I just finished watching your gnome video and was very impressed with it. I have lots of scrap yarn from different projects so I am going to use it to make these very cute gnomes. I was thinking of making set's of 12 and giving them to my children for Christmas to put on their tree's. Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us.
Hi Toni. I already know how to make the hat part, but I never thought you could add the knome part. They look very cute. I'll have to try and add the other part to some of the ones I already made. Thank you for sharing this video.
Those are so cute, I have been looking for something quick and easy to make for about 20-30 people and I think I found it thank. I am new to your channel so can't wait to see more.
Totally love this! I was making hats to do a ski themed garland for a smaller tree, and while I was doing this I was thinking it would be cute to make a gnome for it... And then your tutorial popped up. Many thanks! Great video. You make it easy to understand and follow. Thanks again and early Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial! I am not very good at crafts, but have been looking for things that even I can do. Your instructions are so clear and helpful that I am encouraged to try this one. My Daughter-in-law's mom loves gnomes, so this should be a cute little gift I can send with her Christmas card this year!
Sooo cute, I love Gnomes ! This is the perfect project to do while camping. I won't need to pack my whole craft room and could do the glue part when I get back home. I can get ready for Christmas during the summer ! :). Your instructions were very well done.
Thank You.. easy and Nice❣️ Tho I'm saying that before I did but it looks real easy and they are Adorable❣️ First time will be this one❣️❤️💯 Probably only ones will be from this idea.. Thank You.. Merry Christmas and God Bless❤️🙏⛄🦌🎄🎁✝️
I love making these gnomes and will be teaching my youngest granddaughter tomorrow. I found that wrapping paper tubes are a bit sturdier than toilet paper or paper towels.
I just read Cathy's comment n I have to say that I happen to be watching this on October 6th, 2022, yesterday was my 61st Birthday! I need to start making cute things like this, it looks like fun after you get the hang of it!!! (I'm in Michigan, where are you from? )
