After extended use - This is still working perfectly without issues!

I made it after I watched your video, I made it from pvc tube heated to flat and cut it for 2 circles, paper tape upside down, and tape it under the mug, to but marks on the copper. I bring 19 V 2 amber charger. And I found one watch charger to get the bins from it paint it and I made it as simple as that. Thank you. By the way, I don’t put any dimension for the charger but it’s work.

I think i might turn one on my lathe out of walnut and use the original charger with new pins .... now this will not have the printed circuit that turns it off when charged.

Oooo! That would be so cool!

It would be really good to also change design to minimize the pogo pin failures. Two changes I can imagine are 1) change the flat bottom to be concave and maybe even include a large opening to the bottom so that water drips might run away from the pogo pins and 2) change to pogo pins with stainless steel springs.

I'm going to be making another one of these here soon just so I have a third around the house so I might just incorporate some of those things.

That's pretty cool! If only I had a 3D printer! FYI Nguyen is pronounced "win" (probably slightly Americanized, but definitely closer than "new gin"!)

Nice! Thanks for that. I knew I would butcher it lol

That is so cool! Can I just pay you to make me one (or two)? Love your logo by the way.

I didn't design the 3d print otherwise I might just do that! Maybe a good idea for a future overvolted store!

@@overvolted I will pay for the custom size for the travel mug as the standard doesn’t fit my car cup holder.

Hi! Could you try a car charger for the cup holder and an ember travel mug?
@overvolted

We can make that happen!

What car do you have that you are having issues with the travel charger? I'll get some measurements and see if we can design something universal. Thanks
@Charliebcas

@@overvolted thanks! I have a Toyota Corolla Cross. The problem is that the top measurement is different from the bottom one. The mug fits correctly with a little jiggle space. But from my measurements the ember car charger won’t fit correctly.

Any way you can get me some measurements upper and lower?

Thank you for this! What size pogo pins did you use?
@overvolted
@overvolted 10 месяцев назад
I used 6 mm. Maybe a touch long but I ended up putting rubber feet on the bottom of mine so it didn't slide around so it worked out. 5 mm might be the sweet spot. . There's a link in the description to some different Pogo pin options.
