Learn how to make an embroidery pattern with ProCreate!
This is not a comprehensive tutorial on how to use the application, so check out lots of resources on youtube!
You can make any type of pattern you like, but this is a simple floral wreath with lettering imported from online.
I use the standard iPad and an off brand Apple Pencil. The ProCreate app is $10, but I personally think it is worth it if you want to make your own patterns, thumbnails, or art.

I really recommend, it was only an upfront cost and there are free brushes and font downloads online. I would personally not pay for any extra stuff because there is already so much available after the 1 time purchase. I also use procreate to make stickers!

I hand embroider.. very tempting to get a machine though. I use embroidering as my positive coping mechanism so a part of me doesn't want to make it any faster then it is!

I recommend the app just called "procreate" which is $9.99 on time purchase. I do not recommend "procreate pocket"

I do not recommend the procreate on iPhone, unfortunately it is missing a lot of the extra's that the iPad version has

It is a 1x $9.99 purchase. I was so hesitant to purchase it but I do not regret it. Once you purchase it there are so many things you can do, a lot of people will try and get you to purchase add-ons but there are so many free downloads for the app that I have never needed to buy anything to make it super customized!

Are you selling this pattern or completed embroidery work? If so, you are using part of someone else’s art (their hand lettering) that you stole and are including it in your own work. 🥴 As an artist, I am deeply uncomfortable with that.
