Thank you, Alaina. This is a lovely arrangement! I particularly like the stitching on top of the petals - who would have thought to use the multi-stitch brush for that? Having tried (and failed!) to make French knots for real I can only say that digital embroidery is so much easier 😊 It’s always helpful to see how you use the brushes. There being so many of them (a good thing!) I can become lost trying to work out what to use where. Probably an experienced stitcher will know that but we who are not that skilled appreciate your input.

I'm really glad you found the tutorial helpful! I am definitely not an experienced stitcher either, and taught myself only enough "real" embroidery as was needed to make a digital version. I almost finished the piece without the extra stitching embellishments (multi stitch etc) but I wanted kind of a maximalist effect and it just seemed to be missing something, so the extra stitching embellishments did the trick!

Cool. What if you added. a drop. shadow to the hoop?

Yes absolutely that would be possible, what I would do would be duplicate the hoop layer, alpha lock then fill with black, and use gaussian blur slightly (after turning alpha lock off again). It may also be necessary to select the area inside the hoop and then mask the shadow layer to that, so that the shadow does not appear inside the hoop.

Do these brushes have a commercial license? Can we sell our paintings? can we use it for pod?
