Altoid tins, travel soap dishes, Tic Tac containers, medicine bottles, ear bud cases, etc. can also house emergency sewing kits. Class 15 or 66 bobbins are easy to fill for "spools" of thread. Needle books, whether Victorian elaborate or frontiersman utilitarian, can serve the same purpose. IMO, it's always a good idea to keep a small sewing kit handy for multiple purposes. Thanks for the reminder.
What helpful hints. Thank you. You just taught me something. I did not know that those notches on the bottom of the thread was to secure your thread. Lol. Thanks
very good info thank you. so its 5yrs later. edc is big now. i use kevlar or 50lbs fishing lines but core concept is same. i will use this info in my pack
Love this but going crazy trying to find the episode where you talked about the sewing tools hanging off your necklace! I need to purchase several for gifts. Thank you!
I got as far into this tutorial as "just use alcohol". Now my wife left me and I lost my truck to repossession. Overall I would say I did not obtain the results I sought.
